Josh is superb second universe content.

In that particular reality, it's also extremely common for people to have 4 or more monitors, unlike this reality where NO ONE has 4+ monitors (Josh said it himself, and he's very wisdomous, so it's true). Josh is still typically watched on the secondary monitor there though, some things just stay the same throughout the multiverse!

@@IksEnwie I've heard that in that continuity people go as far as to secretly own secondary monitors just to watch JSH, it's a very dangerous thing to do and your entire household will be shunned from reality if they're found out (and of course you get arrested and executed, but that's unimportant)

I'm not sure disingenuous is the right word, he's not being insincere or anything...It's more that it seems like he may be assessing the question from the wrong perspective out of irritability from this particular question. I sympathize with him, some things from a busy chat being said/asked over and over can get very grating, but I feel what he's failed to consider is the reason(s) why someone might ask "Will you ever stream XYZ-Game again?", plenty of streamers only stream a game once whether due to it being a sponsored thing (so they only did it for that particular sponsorship) or just finding that they don't really enjoy playing that game on stream, so it's not unreasonable for someone to ask if he'll stream a particular game again, especially if it's a game that he's not known for playing/streaming. I'd get irritated by the question too if it were me answered, but it's also not an unreasonable question to be asking. The questions of "Why aren't you streaming...", those don't quite sit in the same place imo, I feel what he said covers those quite well, but what he's done is he's been too general and covered too many similarly themed question under a single response. Overall I do agree with your assessment except for the being disingenuous part, I just felt I'd add my thoughts because I feel similarly about what he said in this clip. He has not changed from being on the second monitor, however.

​@@Laxora_NZ I do see your point and you are probably right. And it wouldn't surprise me if another thing you said is true, that he didn't necessarily enjoy streaming the game. He likes to read and talk to his chat quite a bit, but Guild Wars is pretty demanding of your attention, and increasingly so, the further you progress through the story (he already started dying a few times due to not looking at the screen). And so it's not really optimal for what he is likely looking for in a streaming game. Ironically, I do think he is more looking for a 2nd monitor game that he can have fun in, and that gives him the time to read chat, tell stories and answer questions, which is fair enough, I do enjoy his stories after all. I can see how GW1 would not be the best game for him in that regard*

The ''why aren't you playing x'' question shouldn't even exist if people would actually think better about the things they ask before they ask it. The ''will you play x ever again'' is a bit more legitimate imo. Regarding this I wonder what the average age of his viewer base on twitch would be.

There is this strange culture on youtube where people attach content creators to one game and then expect them to only do content for that game for like ten years, happens a lot with mmos, Im glad Josh didn't get stuck in that. It's pretty damming too, a guy will get known on a warframe video or something and it blows up his subscriptions for people who want warframe content, then the guy releases a Wow video and none of his subscribers watch it wich makes the algorithm not share his videos because it has low ratio. Now that guy is stuck in warframe

Playing devil's advocate, though, he did within his streams of GW1 talk about his plans concerning playing through all the expansions etc, raising hopes (and possibly expectations) in those viewers who are fans of GW. I think it's totally fair for those viewers to ask if his plans have changed since then, or if he is still planning on playing the rest of the game. It's not a "you should be playing this" or a "don't play other games", so to me it seems like he is either misunderstanding or dodging the question.

I have played through GW1, and I like watching others play it - both because it's rare to see, since it's a pretty niche game, and also because the game is pretty dead, and I like to see things happening over there. How does that make me a sheep?
