Attorney General William Barr is testifying before Congress Tuesday, as Washington waits for him to release special counsel Robert Mueller's report.
Barr has said he hopes to release the full report by mid-April, after releasing a four-page summary of Mueller's report that Democrats deemed unsatisfactory. Barr, however, says he won't testify about the Mueller report. He's there to testify about the Justice Department's budget. Barr's prepared opening statement discusses just that -- budget justifications.

I'd like to hear the process used to privatize the immigrant custody program and who approved the sweetheart contracts that have us paying anywhere from $450 to $750 per person per day to warehouse children. An outrageous price range that never would have passed a regular bid process.

What does the law say about accepting the help of foreigners in regard to elections. Foreign nationals. Campaigns may not solicit or accept contributions from foreign nationals. I wouldn't want AG Barrs job, half the country will hate him on principle because Trump appointed him. There was a time when things weren't so stupid n partisan, where folks respected each other n behaved accordingly. I don’t understand why the full unredacted report is not released to the committee , especially the intelligence department . I understand the need for it not to be fully released to the public in certain areas . Why should one man who has history in this area and an allegiance to the person being investigated. I think there is no way that he or Rosenstein were not informing Whitehouse or Trump about what was going on in the report .

@@Helen-sound Because not all committee members have the required security clearances; the number of illegal leaks have been high as you know; Mr. Schiff is well known to be a prime leaker (for which I believe he will be prosecuted). The redactions, as Mr. Barr repeatedly explained, will be categorized and color-coded so that even congressional oversight members can understand it.

In the Uk we have universal healthcare for all with no private insurance requirement. It is far cheaper, more just and moral. The standards are high. and a poor man gets access to the same care as a rich man. The Cost is about half that of US. Because resources are pooled and there are no money grabbing insurance companies huge savings are made.There is no worry about pre-existing conditions and the US idea that the UKs health service has long waiting times is not true. My Dr offers same day appointments and my working class parents, in their nineties get access to first class care in The Royal Free hospital. Their care would have bankrupted many a US citizen.

@ Steve Walker...The problem with the medical are in the UK is they have the power of life and death of their children.In the last two years two children, that we know here in the US ,have been put to death because he government made the decision it was too expensive to treat them! One of the children was offered free care in the US and It was denied by Teresa May! Poor parents are forced to to turn their children over to the government for execution.This happened and is documented. Americans want to keep control over our lives and our bodies.Socialists in the US are wanting laws passed where abortion of babies are aborted up to the day they are born and, at the mother.s discretion, a new born would be put to death. I am sure you were not aware of this. You are having your own political battles in the UK.
