William Booth - God's Soldier | Founder of The Salvation Army 

I'm just binge watching salvation army stuff because I'm being enrolled as a solider this Sunday

I grew up in the Salvation Army, and though as an adult, I've strayed. I forever will be a Salvetionist !!

My grandmother was born in 1896 in Liverpool. Orphaned age 10 she was taken into the care of the Bluecoat School and orphanage before starting in service at a house called Clearwood in Mossley Hill. I adored my sweet Nanna who told me all she knew about the Salvation Army singing their songs & banging her handbag as a pretend tambourine! Time goes in a circle somehow. In the late 1970s I was a social worker in Manchester Royal Infirmary on a rota to help A&E. There on a bed was a destitute gentleman, dressed in rags with fleas jumping all over him. No-one including me wanted to approach too close to him But I knew a hostel that would take him & care for him. The Salvation Army. I rang & without hesitation a caring voice told me send him down to them. I bless the Salvation Army. They are truly Christian souls to care for such a man whom no one else wanted to touch. And I truly thank them x

I grew up in the salvation army, they saved our lives, youngest of a single mother, 6 kids, I will never forget how they helped us, I miss my childhood church, so many memories

I absolutely love working for The Salvation Army. The Lord is still doing amazing in our communities through them. It's such an honor to be a very small spoke in a much much much larger Kingdom of Heaven wheel. God bless and continue to use these faithful servants for both your will and your way.

God bless The Salvation Army. I am grateful to say I worked for them for 13 years at the Homeless Shelter but last year I was diagnosed with Leukemia and my doctors forced me to step down.

Amazing..he is a humble strong person,strong faith,he is now resting with his wife and daughter from their magnificent wonderful work here on earth. Waiting to sit on the throne that Jesus Christ prepared for them. I watch many stories of the heroes of faith but he is a unique a different good one.His weapon is only the words of God. His heart is big and shining like the sun for the people living in darkness. Truly God is with him through his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. More blessings to the ministry The Salvation Army for helping the needy people..physically and spiritually 😇🙏

We need to come up with some way to show our mission and our story the story of this wonderful man that will capture the younger people. Otherwise who will carry this legacy next?

We wish and pray that their are 3 Territories in the Philippines i.e. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila as National Territory. We believe that God is our Jehovah Jireh a God who provides!
