This video goes to show how watered down Taiko Drum Master was compared to regular Taiko No Tatsujin. They called this chart an Oni/Extreme 4* difficulty, when in reality it’s just the Musukashii/Hard chart (7*) for this song on the lowest Diverge Notes difficulty. (diverge notes make the song harder/easier depending on your performance)
Legend has it that Commodore Perry and his steam ships were sent to Japan so that they could full clear the William Tell Overture on a Taiko no Tatsujin arcade cabinet
yup, when I first got mine it was absolutely horrible, the sensitivity was pretty much nonexistent and couldn't really roll at all. In order to get any use from it I had to buy a wood insert and use foam tape for the edges to up the sensitivity and now it works pretty well. The rubber quality tho is not good at all, it doesn't have that much bounce to it.
ミキオタイコ That's the biggest flaw in this game, the songs are much easier (even on Oni) compared to the early Taiko no Tatsujin games, even the first TnT game on PS2 is harder (thankfully it was fixed in the Japanese version of Taiko Drum Master, which ironically has a few exclusive songs as well), not counting its drastically different, "westernized" playlist (a very few original songs from the early Taiko no Tatsujin games are also present in Taiko Drum Master however).
@@netako as someone in the us who grew up with this version of the game I wish we got more of the Japanese songs honestly. It was wild being the only kid in my elementary school who knew doraemon exists
Barakuma there is an English release for the drums I actually have it. I spend basically every Sunday of my life at the flee market and one sucker wanted $20 for the English with the drums and sticks. And English release with everything usually goes for $50
The stock PS2 drum beats the stock Switch drum by far, the modded version of the Switch drum beats the PS2 version. Highest I could roll with the switch version is 10.
