As to Britney, I think she needs competent help, a person or people who are heavily invested in helping her and NOT in her money or status. As to Harry, why use the word "snub"? All he's done for 4 years is trash talk his family, reveal private secrets and accuse two members of his family of racism. Why would they even want to entertain his "olive branch"? Britney does have mental health problems. Manic depression, I believe. The conservatorship was abusive and her dad and brother profited from it. She does need someone though, to make sure she stays on her medication and to help her manage her money. Very hard to find anyone trustworthy though.

I have to think that the RF not showing at the IG is more than just avoiding the traitor. They probably realize that their presence with Harry (for the first time) would cause a major commotion. People will be looking at THEM, not paying appropriate attention to the actual event. A public event is not the place to reconcile.

So all her life starting with her father have let her down badly. She is, it seems, all alone in the world, and if she does lose whatever is left of her fortune, will any one of those men help her? Brittany does not know how to make good decisions. Her father held her prisoner & made every decision for her. He certainly seems to have siphoned off an awful lot of her money. Mentally, she's barely an adult. This is thanks to her father & his unnatural control of her every thought & action. He crippled her. I don't know how you fix this/help her.
Say what you want about the people involved, but logically I don't really think inviting the British royals to a public/publicised event is an "olive branch"-- it's publicity. If Invictus has to choose between only Harry vs. the entire rest of the "real" royals, they'd be pretty dumb to go with Harry. He's not as central as people like to pretend-- Harry and William both founded the orginization, and it wasn't even Harry's idea, it was an idea he ripped off from the Warrior Games in the US. They don't owe anything to him, outside of what he can do to support the orignization. He pretty much has to at least try to invite his family.

Britney definitely needs a friend who loves her. My heartaches thinking about her pain. When a father turns on or takes advantage of his daughter, it's horrible and leaves the daughter feeling vulnerable and at risk of being used by other men. A daughter often finds a man to spend her life with who is similar to her father. So when her father has decieved her, she will often end up with men with similar troubles and who ends up treating her poorly. Britney needs a true female friend more than ever. She needs a friend who can steer her away from trouble. The problem is that the older we get, the less time we have to help friends in trouble. We do our best, but we often don't have enough free time for the long road to their recovery. And that's the hardest part for someone trying to recover. They end up feeling abandoned even when they aren't. Britney definitely needs someone who can take care of her finances and deal with issues that have become too difficult for her. It's the only way she can survive in a healthy way without having a complete breakdown after feeling hopeless and abused for so many years. Mental illness is a serious illness that often leaves the person isolated from everyone they love.
Let's consider that all the wounded veterans who participate in Invictus deserve everyone's presence there. To support them is worthwhile. PH would benefit, but that is secondary.
The veterans need to protest. Their room board and meals should be paid for vs Harry having luxury accommodations….they need to actively look for alternate leader….restart another program etc…. It should ALL be for and about the Veterans….it is the Meghan and Happy show right now. If Harry cared he would do what is BEST for them…..
