WILLIAMS LAKE BC Canada - Walking in Downtown on a Friday Evening 

My wife and I are heading up to the Williams lake area for a fishing trip...so here I am. Looks very sleepy, I don't think we'll have trouble finding parking.

Williams Lake ''could'' be such a great little city and a lovely looking city .. it needs more PRIDE in the community ' heart'... more trees / more sidewalk 'raised beds" for pereniall plants such as 'maybe ? daffodils and other bulb plants along with plants that can handled having annuals added in the late spring... there are enough ''juvenile delinquents' in Williams Lake that would benefit from having duties to take care of the town gardens... trees ad so much to a town... autumn colors / shade on miserable hot summer days... nice hand made wooden benches with garden planters and ''sand filled ash trays ' trash cans... what about putting some of the homeless and anyone else to work cleaning up the outside of shops etc...painting carefuly... with a wage?? hm?? help people feel they are a huge part of the community. Why are there not '''professionally'' created well done totems to honor the native community?? Why are there no side walk cafe's with space for a musician?? come on Williams Lake... you have class... you can't possibly want your city to look drab and like a drunkards back yard???

I spent many years in Williams lake. I’m older now and am on Vancouver Island. My father built a house in Wildwood. I was hoping someone did a drive around Wildwood video but there doesn’t seem to be one. If you ever would make one I would be so grateful. 🌹
