One of the best parts of this machine is that you get to shoot the ball at Jar Jar hologram and knock him down. 😁 People that hate Jar Jar should love this machine because you get to hurt him. I love this machine.
The display is nothing special, just a normal color crt mounted facing downwards on the particularly big backbox, what you're looking at it's the reflection of the monitor on the glass
I like the pinball2000 setup wish they would have done more pinball like this. I know they did 3 different games, wizard blocks, attack from Mars and star wars...
Poor Williams. They had such high hopes for this game. All that R&D work and it ended up bombing due to changing tastes at the few arcades that remained back then.
It was the Last Williams Pinball 2000 Machine ever produced and will come to an end of Pinball Era from WMS Industries to focus on Gambling Machines as of now.
Actually it was just an excuse for the execs at Williams to exclusively produce Slot Machines...money money money. The greed wasn’t coming from the pinball staff at all. Those poor guys and gals.
I usually don't even care for pinball tables with DMD's. Any pinball table with a damn integrated monitor I would pass right over without even trying. Pinball 2000 tried to be two things at once and failed at both.
I agree. Although probably most people disagree with us, lol. It's not much differant than RFM. Only real big differance on the playfield on RFM is the Ramp in the middle that lifts up and down for shots. And RFM doesnt have a ball plunger, which kind of loses a great part of the pinball experience. I love the music in Star Wars. I just bought Star Wars ep1 machine and i love it.
@@chibang492 the problem with sw is that almost all shots in the pin are the in, upper center. RFM uses way more diverse shots, like ramps and loops. And the lateral alien targets as well
