Unfortunately the brothas are stuck in rap because they just don't want to sing and some of them probably can. It's sad that they just do rap these days without knowing we're sick and tired of hearing it but it's all they know. They just let love ballads, jazz and the blues fall into unworthy hands without a whimper.
My teacher and friend put me on to him. And I discovered a great deal of his catalogue only to find out that he’s underrated and brilliant. I’m happy to see so many people enjoying this as much as me. It’s beautiful feeling, that unity it is! A love worth happening. I only wanted to make her happy. Baby come home. What you doing after the party. In and out. Just to make a few. Discover for yourself and fall in love. I wish many people still wanted to hear this. I’m a dj from this era only. I wanna start a broadcast for people who enjoy mixes like this. And open minded to discover so unheard music from our favorite artist.
I listen to a lot of r&b and soul from the 70’s 80’s and 90’s and I’m in disbelief that today is the first time I’ve heard Willie Hutch and his music is mind blowing. So so good. smh real soul music.

Brings back Kool memories of yesteryear. Willie Hutch knew how to resonate with the feel of that era, laying down tracks that touched the core of our being. Love it STILL 😊❤
