When she first started talking about a country album? I couldn't help but wonder if she would work with Willie Jones and sure enough, she did! He deserves all success and so does she :)
SonyXplods21 i know right l totally understand and feel the same. My mom taught me to have respect and manners to my elders. That’s just how we do it in Georgia and the rest of the south.
2023 and still love hearing Willie sing this ... but it's not just his awesome voice, it's his personality that shines through. Willie, you're top notch, and I hope you remain that way!
Well with his outfit I thought he was gonna rap too then he started singing & I was like “...alright I can see how that can be a southern boi outfit too”
That moment you want to hear this audition but you can't remember his name so you earch "super deep voice black guy audition" and it appears as the first result lmao
@@thomaswild2957 True. But him being Black and doing Country music seem to click and work being outside the box, just like that Black man and the Wagon Wheel song. Darius Rucker
I stumbled across this amazing young man (Mr. Willie Jones) by accident (June 2023) or should I say by divine appointment. What a wonderful voice he has..but moreover, you see his humility and character through his singing. I listen to the song all the time..and when I do, I send up a prayer for him and his family. May God always BLESS Willie Jones in his singing career! 😊😊😊
To everyone who says he can't hit the low notes: HE IS SEVENTEEN and he sings NON professional (if this word even exists..) Give this man a chance. He did well!
I'm 65 years old and at this point in my life almost everything is the SAME OLD SAME OLD, but every now and then something unexpected happens. Thank you Mr. Jones for giving this old man a real treat by not doing the expected!
Tout à fait d'accord avec toi. Je suis à la soixantaine aussi et quand je vois et j'attends cela.... Ca redonne courage en l'avenir. Il est vraiment super ce jeune ! un grand bonheur d'avoir entendu cela.
I’m from Shreveport, Louisiana. Respecting our elders is a way of life. The fact that they laugh at that is telling. We aren’t a bunch of hay seeds. We have respect for people. And I’m proud to say I raise my children in this exact same way. And my proudest moments are when I am told my children are so polite and respectful. I think the world will be a much better place with a few more thank yous and yes ma’ams.
He's on country stations now, frequently!!! I'm not surprised. He connected with that audience instantly. OOOOOH! That smile. If I was 40 years younger, I'd be in heart-throb mode. He's unique and he's going to be around for a long, long time.
Just beautiful. I know the world is a better place for having him in it. Whenever I'm feeling a bit miz, I watch this. I so hope that he has found what he needed. Zx
What a lovely young man! His kind soul, respect and humility shine through, even as he has the confidence to knock our socks off musically and with his style. This is America being great. Blessings on you and your beautiful family, Willie!
Most definitely. I finally decided to listen to Josh Turner a few minutes ago. Willie sings not only circles around him, but squares, triangles, and parallelograms! lol
This video always makes me smile. Willie I hope you always carry that infectious smile and awesome voice in your heart. You are going places man...Strap in! Best wishes!
I crack up every time I see this😂 dude shocked EVERYBODY! I remember this performance, one of my favorites from this show❤ congratulations Willie! Walk in your season young man, beautiful song you’ve done with Beyonce.
He knocked it right out of the ballpark past the bleachers, spotlights, and into the downtown streets. Such a shy & humble gentleman, I bet he had some proud parents standing in the wings they did an excellent job.
I can't believe he didn't make it as big as Malaki the 13 year old from 2023......he's That good, probably school, and wow, if he had a few people write some songs he'd be HUGE>
I remember when this black country singer first came. They just had him on radio.Them white people didn't want to let on he was black for awhile.Charley Pride!
