He was also banned from the Olympic Club, which banned blacks and Jews. Quentin Kopp and he joined Lake Merced and eventually they got into the Olympic Club
Jews ain't banned nowhere. Jews ain't persecuted in America. If jews were in danger in America why did only Black towns gets destroyed. You can't name noooooo Jewish Town or buildings that America destroyed, not one
Good story. It's San Francisco history and it is important to know what happened. When I was three or four years old, he hosted a party for the neighborhood kids. I'll never forget my mom was shocked ...that he was serving fruit punch and had white rugs. 😮 1963 or 64. We moved from that neighborhood to a bigger house, near San Francisco State College. The first black families had just moved in and white flight was occurring. So this is a very real part of history. 🙏🏽
it's good to remember the good things in history and also the bad, so that we can learn from the past. As america loves the inventions of the airplane or lightbulb, and claim those things within themselves, but when it's negative things, they don't want to claim them.
