I wasn't there but I love, respect and admire Willie and I always will. It's wonderful to see him perform on stage with his eldest son Lukas some of his band members...Lukas sounds much like his father but he has his own unique style I think. ❤❤❤

Bass - Kevin Smith (came after death of previous bass player Bee Spears in 2011) and on the left with a guitar is Waylon Payne who is son of Willie's previous guitar player Jody Payne (he was in band 1973-2008). On the back there somewhere should be friend of Lucas from Promise of the Real who plays percussion

I saw him July 4th in Camden New Jersey. My 1st time seeing him was in 1985 on my 1st date with my soon to be husband. 39 years later I saw him with our son . It was especially nice to share this experience with my son. My marriage lasted 28 years . I love Willie and I enjoyed seeing him.
I was at the Great Woods show last week, Willie didn’t perform, but the entire audience was blown away by Lukas and the bands performance. I did not hear anyone complain.
been hearing a lot of “Willie seems so frail” and what not, but he’s singing pretty damn strong here, and his guitar playing is still really tasteful...just people w/ nothin better to do, smh. Long live Willie! 🇺🇸
Still is Still Moving is my favorite but he sounds great on I never Cared for You. I've seen WIllie at least a dozen times, Lucas only once. I would love to see them together.
well i think he still in 1980s he needs new equipment there's only one song that i like it is ( can't wait to get on the road again ) anything else sucks!!!
@@jaredrubin7843 really, I saw him LIve in 1984, and yes he was better then, but it was still a great show. And I've been to over 100 shows of all genres. And i didn't have to have my relatives tell me what the show was like, i was there..
