* OMG! I first saw Willie perform in 1980 at Chicago-Fest & fell in love with his music! And now I seen him again in La Salle, Illinois 44 years later! Warmed my heart to hear him still Jammin'! I've been writing songs myself for over 45 years. Willie is such an amazing singer/songwriter/story-teller and definitely one of my faves! Thank you Willie for taking the time to visit me! Caught Willie Nile in concert @ the Iron Horse in Northampton. Great show, excellent band. I am now a huge fan. Love this guy. So much passion, no bullshit. He should be a household name , but it's probably better that he's not. This guy is fucking great!!!!
I've seen Willie Nile about three different times when he came to Buffalo, New York. I regret that I missed him the last two times he came. He always gives an awesome performance. Down to earth guy with a big heart. And he always has top notched musicians in his band.
@ Bruno - search youtube for "Heaven Help the Lonely" w/Springsteen - Unfor- tunately no 12-string (he is known for that) but there are guitars all over the st age. If that doesn't get your ass dancin' in the aisles, norhing will!!
@@Bad__Scooter really? thanks for the info. A very odd title to have 2 different songs share it. I did find it strange that Bruce would have a cover on a studio album, he doesn’t really do that alot
@@mikemcf33 I agree. It's too weird of a title to be different, but his site states that all songs except for Song for Orphans, If I Were the Priest, and Janey Needs a Shooter were all "written recently".
