About time someone did a stage comparison!..a thousand vids out there but cant find many live or on stage… thank you… Id love to hear the Marshall with some delay and chorus..

The GT1 and headrush was like a 4x12 stack.. very impressive sounds intensity and high wattage when needed .. with the right modeler.. may be the most flexible rig..

I wish there were more videos like this on youtube, great comparison! I actually thought the Fender Champion and Bugera sounded the best out of the bunch. The Boss GT-1 with headrush sounded pretty badass too but was a bit too bass heavy IMO, might be able to just adjust some EQ for that and sound amazing.

Marshall DSL 40 cr have the best sound for me. Great playing by Willy. Respekt.........

This is a great idea to give guitarists a better perspective on what different amps will do on stage, including the frfr speaker. I'm curious about the Marshall 40 for my analog pedals and the FRFR because I have a Quad Cortex. I do know what you're running through the FRFR but it sounds shallow. I'd like to hear the Laney LFR-112 or the LFR-212 on stage.

This is one of the most useful videos I've seen while researching amps for live play with a band. Not sure why but I didnt even consider my 100 watt Boss Katana Artist sitting in my bedroom. Just figured it would need to be tube to compete with my brothers Fender. All I know is the 20 watt 6505 got smoked last week. So I'll try the Boss this week but the DSL 40CR has been in my sights.

I play through the Fender 40 at home. It is very versatile with the amp voicings and effects. It holds its own in rock and blues tones. Plan on upgrading the speaker with an Eminence 'Red White & Blues'.

Everything except the Boss GT into the FRFR sounded good.

Nice demo, i like the fender champion, but i think my favourite is the bugera, the clean is very smooth and clear for taking pedals. Bugera v22 head with 2x12 cab should be more better.

I have the Boss 100w with the 2 speaker cab. Best money I have spent. Definately the best sounding amp. Also takes pedals really well.

Brother, that partscaster tele just suits your playing! Your Carvin was nice but this guitar is just on another planet!!!😁😎 As far as the amps on stage, I was shocked to hear the Champion 40. Just by it's price and grab-and-go nature it wins in my book. Considering that nothing here really blew it off the stage and it had the best blues tone in my opinion!😎

That DSL 40CR kicks ass. Yyou are correct, the Bugera is a great pedal platform. Nice on it's own but much better with the pedals.I played in club bands in the 80's and 90's with a deluxe reverb and pedals and went from hard core country to Billy Idol and classic rock. The marshall was just to damn loud.

No doubt that Fender Champion cuts through the best out of all of them - quite a surprise!

I tried a bunch and then tried the Dsl40... hands down the real deal...picked it up. Using the Tube Driver in front...creamy

A real comparison. I just squeezed an Eminence Legend EM12 in my bugera V22. Wow what a difference, almost a Marshall and so much clearer.

Dang I'm gonna reconsider the champion 40, I really want something with a 12 inch speaker but had a champion 20 and couldn't get a usable sound out of it plus hate digital modeling so counted the 40 out. But you were getting a good fenderish blues tone outta that thing Willy with some cajones to it, very impressed 👍..... I realize good playing has alot to do with it too lol

DSL40CR sounded the best. The Katana had the advantage because of the 2x12 cab. If you plugged in a 2x12 though the DSL it would put all the other amps to shame.

All you need now is a drummer and bass and you be jammin!

So turns out we've all been sleeping on Fender's solid state offerings. That thing sounds great, especially considering what it is. I know people like the Marshall, but it still sounds kinda "ok, but not great by comparison" to me. Katana sounds really good, but that's no surprise to anyone who has followed them. That's also probably the best I've ever heard a Bugera sound. Like anything tube, seems they just need to be cranked pretty hard to get them to sing. I think they tend to sound quite mediocre at lower volumes though, from my experience with them. But you made it sound lovely. And the other 2 sound fine, considering what they are. My votes go for the Katana and Fender. Fantastic playing though overall!

The Marshall blows ever amp out of the water by far. I just got my burgera v 22 back from storage and Just looking around at video’s. I need a Marshall dsl. The Marshall jcm 900 dual reverb was the best amp I ever owned .

Marshall sounded best to me. I am biased because I have that amp - and love it. I also have the Line6 Pod Go and think it is amazing.

DSL was best, the katana second But there's so much more you could get out of it

The Fender Champion 40 had great sound and good amp of power. The Boss Katana sounded good towards the end of your playing and the Headrush really needed to be close mic'd. Is this your church stage?
