I wanted to have a look on the Jeep to see if I can find any previous numbers or labels from its previous life before it gets a new paint scheme for next year so got the sander out!
Good job with the Jeep Bruce. Love looking around your garage and as l have said in previous comments l used to collect all that stuff. Only 3 bayonets left. I think I should start collecting again. And the Acion Men! I kept mine from being a kid and then one day my mother decided to give them away to a friends child. My teddy came out the cot when l found out 😂. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers Carl 😊
Looking great. Trying to keep it real and true.😊 Do you reckon she was ever used in a film? Another day washing drenched towels from garage floor. Lol😢
It was done when it came to the UK by first owner here, have s receipt that its one of 12 that came to UK in 1998, many were painted USA and used as film props in Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan which mostly was filmed in England, I re painted the bonnet with same numbers as the Action Man Jeep! 😜👍 The whole Jeep will get a roller paint of Olive Drab and prob leave it with no markings for a while 😁👍
Happy new year! And thanks for watching 😁👍 The flooring is 3mm rubber matting from eBay,cones in set width of 1.3meters and you can choose lenght required 👍 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115544344569?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=K7r3A80NSNS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=YOCENeG4QUS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY 😁👍
There would be French bonnet markings -3 black squares to chalk on convoy number, and usual military signage like tyre pressure and vehicle weight. Half one side rear axle white for night convoy light to see vehicle in front, i will do all these markings but it will just be NATO and no specific country, If the whole Jeep is satin Olive Drab it covers all things 1945 to French withdrawal in 1990 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
