Willys is basically a base model sport wirh different driveline. Not even in same category as a rubicon for so many things. Axles, fenders, gears, lockers, differentials, tires, rims, etc..etc..etc
The rubicon has lockers disconnecting sway bar. In all honesty 8/10 people will never need those especially if you use the vehicle as your DD. I recently just sold my 2016 Rubicon for a 2021 Willys. Never once did I use the sway and maybe only a few times did I use the lockers just because I wanted to use them. You can get by with a Willys for the majority of trailers with no problem. Just have recovery gear. You can always add lockers and whatnot later in the future. Willys is the better buy.
@@LesleyCantorna No rear locker either. Limited slip diff in the rear. The Rubicon package is a way of removing money from the wallets of people that want to Buy a Jeep and say they have a Rubicon. Most of the serious jeeps end up being Sports that everything gets replaced on.
I like the video but the audio levels are all over the place. It would be great if you could reupload the video with the audio leveled out it's just a click of a button with some of the software really easy to do.
I have a willys and prefer it just for the name and history. The extras added by the rubicon i can get better aftermarket for cheaper. The history of the willys name was a bigger deal for me. In the end they are remarkably similar and almost no one is going to leave them stock.....plus.....looks like the willys is using street tires? My willy's has far more aggressive tread than that stock.
