🤗😘🤗 Absolutely love Wilson. As.a.forty something, Hi female who was outted in middle school (back before it was trendy/"cool"/to be Bi/gay), harrassed, and bullied, it was refreshing to see him represent the community via "My So Called Life". I then got outted to my Mother from a fundamentalist Christian neighbor that saw me through her window, kiss my girlfriend goodnight at the door. It was a horrible, embarrassing experience. My Mom was very much unsupportive until other people started to explain to her that she was being irrational and ignorant. So yeah, the show was definitely ahead of the curve, comforting to me, and im sure millions of others in the community back in the 90s, and very much still relevant to youth today.
