This song brought alot of peace to me when it came out back then and over the years I kinda forgot about it..After watching bridesmaid it brought back the peaceful memories. Wow! They still sound the same and look amazing! I wish they could continue to sing new songs because they can have a positive influence in the world today as they did then.
Always rated this song - and not by connecting it to a 'friendship' but by thinking about Life and where I'm (and other's) are at. We all have 'bad' times work wise, and thinking about ' holding on' even when others dont - matters a lot!
Can't stop thinking of that Harold And Kumar scene I love them one off my all time favourite songs ❤️❤️❤️ I love them one off my all time favourite songs ❤️❤️❤️
While their harmonies are great, Carnie really should have done more leads. In the 90's it really seemed like they were promoted as "Chynna Phillips and two other girls" simply because she was considered the "blonde pretty one." Carnie has the best, the strongest, voice of the three, but the media just obsessed about her weight. Such a shame because she's DAMN good! And she's beautiful!
I don't agree at all. Because Carnie is overweight people assume she's as talented as Cass Elliot and she's not remotely that good. I think Chynna was used because her voice was more distinctive. None of them is a strong solo singer.
Celluloid, Wilson Phillips was about three voices blending. It's the harmonies that are strong, neither Carnie nor Wendy have the range that you typically think of as a "lead". None of them are very good as soloists but when they are a threesome it's magical.
This song really helped me before I got my divorce. I wanted to kill myself, but these lyrics helped me to hold on, ' til things could go your way. Someday somebody's gonna come along to make you change your mind......hold on for one more day....
