Clearly Evan Solomon is a Liberal partisan. So many other interesting questions that could have been asked. E.S. wanted a "gottcha" interview but JWR too smart to take the bait. Hope we see her in politics again and soon.
I think it is important to note that Ms. Wilson-Raybould had this book in the works for some time (before this snap election was called early) and the release of the book is just bad timing for the Liberal party and Mr. Trudeau in particular.
Jody's true complete testimony was blocked by "Cabinet privilege". That does not imply falsehood but a coverup by Justin himself. She deserves a medal for defending Canadian justice.
Hmmm, So much for inclusion, diversity, respect, equality. Canada, Trudeau says nice things, but actions speak louder than words. Women and all Canadians stand up to Trudeau and vote him OUT.

The book would have been written long before Trudeau called the election. I hope she sells lots of books. She was way to smart not to be a threat to him as a leader.
Why publish this book now? That's because Ms. Wilson-Raybould wants Canada to vote with 'informed' responsibility & sensibility. All respects to her. Got the book yesterday - can't wait to finish it before the vote date.
J.T. is the real piece of work. Noting you can say or do will change my mind. Guy is not fit to run a lemonade stand. I'd normally think he was the worst P.M. in Canadian history but a P.M. wouldn't do the things he did and does so I don't consider him a P.M. With that notion he isn't the worst PM. in Canadian but would be otherwise.

Even if she was wrong, Liberals should have done everything to keep her in the party because of her honesty, personality, heritage and many other virtues. And especially not let her go when she was right! I am a big fan of her. Strong and upright lady.

JWR announced her book publication in the spring of 2021. Trudeau called a snap election in Aug. 2021, despite knowing that her book was due to be released.

Any remnant of respect for Evan Soloman has now been extinguished in this interview. A most excellent job sir. To be clear I'm exactly on the opposite side of most of Jody Wilson-Raybould's politics, but what she did earns my respect - in spades. She's telling the truth and the PM is not, that's obvious to everyone excluding Mr. Solomon it would appear.
JWR lost a lot of weight and looks spectacular. She personifies everything the typical progressive is not; ethical, honesty, integrity, and a straight shooter. Your qualities are what we all aspire to be. Congrats on the book. Another observation is that she can write a book at election time critical of PM and she gets no blowback. Ezra Levant does the same with his book The Libranos and the authorities are all over him. Why?
Jody may not have recorded an audio of her conversations with Trudeau but according to her she made personal transcripts of her conversations. She did make audio recordings of her phone conversations with Warnick and Butts.
What an insulting characterization of the release timing of her book! Should she have DELAYED her launch to suit Trudeau’s self-serving election call? Two years early!? This is such insult to the many injuries to Ms. Wilson-Raybould; Solomon makes me puke.
The truth came out already----don't know why the boy still remains the leader of Canada------anyone else would have lost their position. I guess we will still continue to talk about it until justice is done.
Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott are living heroes. Don't get me wrong. The fact that they are heroes does not translate into pressing Canadians to blindly vote for another party. The Federal Liberal party may need to rethink who they want as their party's leader in the years to come. Well, however you vote, please vote. It is your right and you and I need to exercise this right.

Should be more independents in the house. We had like 5 by 2021 I wish there was more. NDP and PPC should be able to hold the CPC and LPC in check. And the bloc shouldn’t ever get more than 5 seats. Quebec is so over represented

She is a real 🇨🇦'n hero!, along with Dr. Jane Philpott, Celina Caesar-Chavannes, & also Ruth Ellen Brosseau, former NDP Whip and later House Leader; who got elbowed in the chest by the PM, during a dust-up on the floor of the Commons, in his 2nd year as PM. That's quite the "Feminist" we have in our Prime Minister!
Great case study of why Canada doesn't actually have democracy. We don't get to elect the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is simply selected from a mob of MPs (who are elected). Then, for some reason, they're given all sorts of powers like control over cabinet membership - all not granted from the people's vote.
