Wilson Station Reconstruction Completion

I will definitely miss the original layout and feel of the station (especially with that one platform being a bit of a loner) but this new bright white/silver look for the station looks nice too. The restored Gerber Building facade definitely fits the new color/look.

can we please take pride in better security please. i love the cta but i know it can always be more safe at every hour of every single day and night. i love Chicago and im glad to see its improvements we need to keep these stations clean

This will probably seem like nit-picking on my part, but the massiveness of this new station would be so much more effective if it were possible where the *_Addison_* station in Wrigleyville now stands. While that station was rebuilt years ago to be wider and accommodate elevators and escalators, it still often becomes dangerously crowed with _Cubs_ fans. The residential dwellings that currently exist around the _Addison_ station made it unfeasible to build a new twin platform station that could easily accommodate the traffic to and from _Wrigley Field,_ so the CTA did the best they could, at the time, with the money and the *_space_* they had. But can you imagine the crowds coming from a _Cubs_ game or some concert at _Wrigley Field_ into the huge new _Wilson_ station? Four lanes of track would allow local service on the inside tracks and the outside ones could run north & south trains express for the massive influx of those who only came into the city for whatever was happening at the stadium!

My God, you ruined it!!! Don't get me wrong, it looks very nice but I just wish you could've renovated it with a lot of the original design in mind, like how you did Quincy.

The music of today's is "superb", too!

Thank God that monster Helen Shiller was kicked out so finally this can happen! Great to see Uptown making a come back!

Whats the next project going to be done on?

Wait until they reconstruct Lawrence, Argyle, Berwyn, and Bryn Mawr.

The music transitions from 0:10 through the middle at 0:49 to about 0:55 or 0:54; from the old age to the new generation's!!

This is a nice sounding bass in this music for the video; sounds superb in these speakers!!!

Big deal...an aesthetic improvement to "look at". But Red Line service south of Howard to Fullerton remains HORRIBLE. Herky-jerky stop/starts and delays for never-ending track repairs makes for a painfully slow ride that isn't any faster than if you took a bus over the same distance.
