A clinical performance! 💪🏻 #NovakDjokovic sailed past #HolgerRune in straight sets to book his quarter-final berth! 🔥 Watch him next 👉🏻 Quarter-Finals in #WimbledonOnStar | Tomorrow | Star Sports Network
Grand Slams eating shovels of shit saying "Just pay for the channel and watch live", meanwhile Indians shoveling money into their economy. Idiotic from GS, like always.
He is 37 and still playing well. Instead of accepting some spectators are still disrespecting him and a few commentators are even questioning his knee surgery. No end to envy?! Sad.
From the first game and with each draw, it became clearer and clearer that Rune had lost to Djokovic even before entering the court. I lost mentally. Rune played as if struck by inner fear.. No confidence, no freedom. It's all moral constriction. Novak's authority undoubtedly has a magical effect on the opponent! On the contrary, Novak is concentrated and collected as much as possible before each draw, but he plays it relaxed and freely during the draw. Both Djokovic's head and body have learned to relax during the game. That's why he's number one..
Although these commentaries could improve on the technical aspects by inviting someone like Paes etc. But happy to finally see an unbiased commentary in Đoković match ( better than official one).
Here in India, the English commentary streamed is the original one of Kyrgios and McEnroe. So, they can't post that. Thus, they post the hindi commentary.
Commentators are wrong... They were not booing Rune but cheering him... Even Novak thought that the crowd was booing and even complained about it... But it was not boooo...... But Ruuuuuuuune.... It was a misunderstanding and I'm surprised how commentators got it wrong... or did i miss anything.
@@mbangroo that is bound to happen.. If a player misinterprets the cheer and considers it as boo and complains about it.. Then the crowd will egg him on to annoy him further... It happens everywhere across all sports... But it all started with a misunderstanding and got escalated because of that complaint(officials even assessed it) .. Its for a simple reason, they wanted Rune to be back in the match and make a fist of it... Because it was a one sided affair with Novak being too good for Holger.
Nonsense.. have you watched ANY of Rune's previous matches, ever.? Tell me - have you ever heard audience (on Wimbledon 2024 or before) cheering "(r)uuuuuuuuu (n) " ever before this match? By the way - mostly on Djokovic 's mistakes.. not even on Rune's mistakes nor - winners..
@@aleksandrafilipovic758 u r a novice.. If u think that it hasn't happened to other players... Crowds have been rude innumerable times and have jeered many... In other matches in this Wimbledon Rune wasn't the underdog.. He clearly was here... When they realized that this match would have a tame ending.. They tried to cheer him up.. And it swings either ways... Doesn't matter if Rune hits a winner or Novak commits an error.... One of the commentators if I'm not wrong even brought up 2021 US open.. where the same incident took place and Novak misconstrued it... BTW as far as precedence is concerned.. History is replete with incidents where crowd cheers and motivates the one who is the underdog in the contest and they do these things to prop up that someone... Far worse crowd reactions than this have taken place in the past and across sports.. This was certainly a case of misinterpretation... But after making it clear that he didn't like it, Novak only opened the gates for further titillation .. Never have i ever come across a situation where the crowd has gone quiet after such incidents . if its not a security concern or they know that its not an act that will have ramifications from the officials, they will continue with this behavior especially if they think that it is irking a player.
@vickyrajan5378 As not just tennis but particularly a Novak's fan for decades , I can hardly be a "novice " on this "disrespectful crowd " issue. But, if we're being more and more apologetic, if we're constantly trying to relativise even accept this rude and unsporting behaviour as "inevitable ", "can't be helped " new norm, like; if we can't even properly address this problem of audience despicable unsporting (mis)behaving, it will get only worse, to the point of irregularity of some matches. Audience cannot obstruct the game, and - that's what they're doing way to often.
Novak, many do not love him, he has always been like that, even though he broke all tennis records and won 28 slams. For them he will never be the best, Novak has always known it and he will take it to his grave, he is like a lone wolf, he should learn to wash his wounds alone.
Very poor commentating. No comments on technicality, change in Djokovic's approach (him being more attacking than usual) and you guys say "percentage tennis kheli hai" wtf lol. And they show a slow mo of him sliding, and you guys have no comment on that and how difficult it is to do. You guys talk about the backhand winner but not analyze the rally, how he set it up by hitting a deep backhand from a defensive position to Rune's backhand. Want to grow the sport in India? Be more applauding of the players, explain why certain things are difficult to do, analyze the rally. Not this shitty way of presenting
