Hi thanks for your comment and welcome to the channel. I love all 3 machines they are all fantastic models. Most of the picture presets now work with the K2s I will be doing an updated video in the next week or so. It's entirely up to you what style of projector you like the look of more, as they all have different design choices. Also what budget you have for a projector. And what technology you want in a projector, and what devices you have in your home already, there is a lot of factors. If price is a factor then I recommend the P60, P62, and P64 machines they have good picture to price ratio. They are all great machines, And I'm sure Yaber will solve the remaining bugs in the K2s in a coming software update. If you already have a Google Chromecast, or a firestick in your home, and a good Bluetooth speaker then I recommend the K1 over the K2. Because you won't be loosing much over the K2. And the K1 has far better dust resistance over the K2. So I will always love the K1 more over the K2. Plus the K1 has far better build quality, because the K1 has real aluminium on the front of the machine, whilst the K2 is all constructed of plastic. There's a lot of factors and choices when it comes to buying projectors, and each person is different. But I do recommend all machines, I just personally love the K1 more over the K2 🙂👍 And I love Wimius machines especially for their sharpness levels, and the best bang for buck picture performance to price ratio. Lots of things to consider 🙂👍

and if I understood correctly for the zoom on these 3 projectors: to have an image of 100 or 110 inches, we must put it approximately 3m50 from the screen, I am sitting at 4m, so very close to the device. With the zoom I can bring the projector closer and increase the size? or move it 5m away and zoom in to always have an image within 100 inches? thank you

Be careful with the specifications of the e700 Pro. After doing a bit of research on this projector, the resolution states it's 1080p and not native 4k. Some websites contradict each other on the specifications. Therefore, in my opinion, these specifications can't be trusted. I also have know knowledge or experience with this brand so I can't comment on the customer service, or longevity of the machine. Evercom are welcome to reach out to me and I'll fully test this machine and put it through it's paces.. But I think more research is necessary on your part before parting with your hard-earned money. I think you will be very pleased with the Yaber K1. This projector has been amazing with its dust resistance, brightness level, sharpness, and overall clarity. But you will need a large room to project the screen sizes you mentioned. The Yaber K1 has a throw ratio of 1.51, if I can remember, so you will likely need at least 5 or 6 metres of space with the screen sizes you mentioned. You can go onto a website called Projector Central, and this will give you a throw distance calculator for the projector you have, so you know how much space you need for a particular screen size. Hi Thanks for your comment 😊 the projector works great with USB drives and external Hard drives, but I honestly haven't tried it with subtitles from the USB port. I currently stream all my movies so I haven't had the need to try this to be honest. If you get InTouch with Wimius themselves they will be able to give you a solid answer to this. They are very friendly and will help you out with the correct answer to this. 🙂👍

Thanks for updating me and letting me know how you got on with it, I haven't tested the USB output with picture presets so I never noticed this before. I mainly stream everything over netflix, prime, and Kodi and this projector has been excellent in my testing. I'm sure if you let wimius know some of these issues, they may be able to fix some of the issues via an update. But this would only be if enough people reported it, so it's worth getting InTouch and letting them know 🙂👍

After these few days of testing, I can say that the image is very good. Very clear and bright. The sound is not bad too. And it's pretty quiet. But: the autokeystone does not work or does not work properly, the image adjustment menu is not available via USB, the Bluetooth does not connect automatically, the distance is around 4 meters max... in short, useful functions who I miss. I prefer to send it back. For a k2s surely, if it has these functions.

They use garbage arm processors that are probably 5 generations old and use the bulk of manufacturing cost on the optics. When something is able to be sold for 250 in Canada then you know it's just another ccp shell company that is turning a quick buck. I'd even venture a guess that if you bought it off ali express and save a few more bucks and it arrived with a problem the seller would just blame it on you after wanting 3 hours of video about everything from the package to what time you last voided your colon.

You should get around 80-90 inches from this distance, it a great choice of projector, the fan is quite loud for a bedroom setting but as your watching a movie this shouldn't really matter to much. You might want to check out the P63 projector I just reviewed, this has android fully built in and had a slightly more quiet fan 🙂👍

The other projector I was looking at was the WiMiUS S27 mini projector portable which is a lot cheaper but I don’t think the image quality will be as good, do you have any idea? Thanks!

​@abbyparker7214 have you seen the Wimius Q2 portable projector this is ideal for the bedroom and it's really quiet. This is also on my channel but it's not a 1080p projector it's only 480p but this can be shined on the ceiling so when you in bed all you need to do is look up it's pretty awesome little machine. You might want to check this one out too 🙂👍

Thank you for the lovely comment I really appreciate the feedback 🙂🙏 It depends what your looking for in a projector do you want it to be portable? In terms of image clarity you won't notice much difference comparing the P62 and P64 machines they practically look identical in terms of image clarity. I personally love the P62 more than the P64 for the simple reason it's far more portable, comes with its own back pack so it's easier to travel with. And it had a better threaded foot to raise and lower the projector. Where as the P64 is only capable of 2 heights as it's only got 2 plastic feet on the bottom so you can't make fine adjustments as good as you can with the P62 if you already have a screen installed on your wall. If you don't have a screen already on your wall than this won't really matter as much to you 🙂 Both have advantages over each other 🙂 Hope this helps you. 🙂👍 But the p64 has better sound quality, has the capability of acting as a Bluetooth speaker, along with a little better build quality . They are both fantastic projectors it's just what appeals to you more and what you plan to do with the projector.

I forgot to answer your firestick question the brand new firestick is the one you want to go for.. It's only just been released on the 18th of October you want the 2023 version this one has 16gb of storage built into the machine. All the other fitesticks have only had 8gb up untill now, so I would go with the new firestick. Unless Google Chrome cast are bringing a new one out soon. I personally prefer Google, for the Chromecast function. But if your big on Alexa and have many devices in your home I would definitely look into the brand new fire stick that released this month. 🙂👍

Hi thanks for your comment, No I've never tried projection mapping before, but it does look pretty awesome! Especially light shows on buildings.. I think this projector would be able to handle it for sure, although it you are going to be taking it anywhere regular mapping other buildings, I think the wimius P62, or P60 would be more suitable, they also come with bags so they are far more portable.. I've also reviewed them on my channel also fantastic machines 🙂👍

@@fulv_uk No because they are far more portable, and they come with bags so are easier to transport, plus they both have an adjustable foot at the front, so you can adjust the beam better, where as the P64 is only capable of 2 heights, so it's a lot harder to project the beam where you want it.. I don't think you can use a tripod either with the P64 projector, as there is no mount In the bottom. 🙂👍

I don't have any experience with the Dangbei Neo so I can't compare the two. However the Dangbei has android built into the projector and the P64 does not. The Dangbei also supports an ethernet cable and the P64 doesn't. But on spec they both look similar in terms of brightness etc. If you already have a fire stick, or Google Chromecast, Roku or any other smart device that you can connect to the HDMI port, then I would say go for the P64, because it's half the price. And similar specifications. 🙂👍

Hi and thanks for visiting the channel and taking the time to comment 🙂 This depends on if your going to be using this projector mainly in dark environments. For dark environments this projector will fit the bill perfectly. But for any kind of sun then no these projectors don't cope to well in them conditions due to only having 500-600 Ansi lumens. If you plan on viewing a projector when the sun is out, you will need atleast 4000 lumens or more and that's with some shade over the top to block the sun out.. For sun setting or going down you will prob want around 1000-2000 Ansi lumens. For pitch black scenes you will want atleast 300 and above in my opinion to have a bright image that pops and has nice colours and a good contrast ratio.. As for the other machine you mentioned, I have no experience with this machine so I can't really comment on machines I haven't tested. However benq is an excellent brand that makes some awesome machines and most likely would be a great investment. It all depends on how much your willing to spend. Hope this helps you 🙂👍

Hi there have you managed to find it now? I hear the image settings or not available if your on the USB part when watching a video.. I don't currently have the p64 set up at the moment as I'm testing other projectors. But if I can remember rightly if you hold down the M button or the 3 lines button which is the menue. It should bring up the picture setting in a quick menue. If you still haven't found it I will set it up for you and talk you through it. 🙂👍

With Sealed optic LCD projectors you still need to clean the dust from the dust filters.. As the filters can get clogged up with dust and this will make the machine run hotter, and eventually it will overheat, when this happens most projectors will start devoloping dark patches or brown spots on the image before they eventually fail.. So it's important to clean them regularly, so the projector can run as efficiently as possible, and most importantly to prolong the life of the projector. Hope this helps. 🙂👍

Hi Eric this projector is capable of projecting an image of 300 inches. Here is the throw distance specs 1.6m 49" 2m 60" 2.5m 75" 3m 93" 3.5 105" 4m 125" 4.5m 141" 5m 157" 6m 300" With a margin of 3% inaccuracy. If you enter the meters and the inches in a throw distance calculator you should get more accurate measurements. Hope this information helps you :)

I don't have it set up right now but I do cover it at the 18 minute mark in my review. When your on a source if you press the 3 lines button on the left of the remote hold this down it should bring up your picture menue settings. That's just going off the top of my head, but the brightness level is in the settings menue somewhere. It should be easy to find. 🙂👍

Hi thanks for your comment :) the audio on this P64, is the best I've tested out of the 5 projectors I have at home.. you can also use this projector as a Bluetooth speaker, were as the other models you can't.. But I always recommend using a good sound bar, or a set of Bluetooth speakers, or any type of dedicated audio system for the best possible experience when watching movies on the big screen. Having a big screen, and a good sound system brings it altogether, and is far more immersing.

I don't have any experience with the Toptro X7 my friend, I have emailed the team and showed interest to get a few of their machines on the channel. But have had no replies as of yet. But you are quite right both machines are very similar in specifications, but the X7 has built in android, and could maybe have an ethernet port if I can remember rightly. Where as the P64 doesn't. 🙂👍

P62 is an excellent choice my friend that's an outstanding projector for the money. My top list would be for home projectors. 1. Yaber K1 for the pure overall build quality, brightness level, outstanding picture performance and most of all dust resistance. 2. Wimius P62 for excellent picture quality to price ratio, sharpness level, and excellent contrast ratio. and the fact you get a backpack so it's far more portable and more easier to transport over the P64. 3. Wimius P64 for great overal picture performance, this projector does really well on all fronts. 4. Yaber K2 excellent brightness level, awesome Sound, and overall built in features, but the sample I received did have a terrible dust problem. But I found the solution to this, the video is on my channel. If my lens didn't grind, and it wasn't a hoover for dust, this would be in the number 1 spot. 5. Best bang for buck under £120 the Wimius P60 excellent build quality, fantastic picture perfomance, and you get a carry bag so it's great for traveling. But you can't go wrong with the P62 if that's what you have your eye on. It's an excellent machine 🙂👍 And it's even more perfect with my modification, the video is also on my channel. 🙂👍

Hi thanks for your comment, the P64 has better build quality than the P62, it also has much better whites. As on my P62 there is slight yellowing in all 4 corners, so it throws other colours of slightly. The P64 doesn't have this which is great. The P64 speakers sound much better inside the unit. You can also use the P64 as a Bluetooth speaker something you can't do on the P62. The fan noise is louder on the P64. Compared to the P62 I'd say 10-15 dB louder . The P64 feet only has 2 height adjustments, were as the P62 uses a threaded foot for multiple heights, they both are great projectors. But wimius have fantastic customer service and if you can get a replacement, I would definitely get the P64 over the P62. Hope that helps you :)

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes, this should work if connected to your laptop with Netflix. As for the brightness level, it's hard to say. With anything under 1000 ANSI lumens, you really need to try and get the room as dark as possible for the best possible experience. But for presentations, it should be fine; all you can do is try.👍 But for reference, with really bright rooms and watching during the day, experts usually recommend at least 1000-4000 ANSI lumens. But if you're on a budget, my advice would be to just buy one and see if it works and you find it suitable for your needs. If you find it's not bright enough for the room you're in, you can at least attempt to make it darker by using some temporary black-out blinds and just stick them up at the windows. These are relatively cheap, and they are great for travelling and removing on the fly. I hope this helps you. 🙂👍

You could try turning off auto focus and auto keystone and try manually focusing it yourself, I've always found I get a much sharper picture if I manually do it myself anyway. Let me know if that works 🙂👍

Hi there, I haven't connected my laptop or PC to the projector to test this. But I'm pretty sure that this will be fine for netflix. You just can't cast from your phone to the projector due to HDCP protocols and copyright protection. But over an HDMI cable to a device should be OK. Hope this helps 🙂👍

It has 2 HDMI ports in the back, so you can hook up any HDMI device that uses HDMI, so a Amazon firestick, Roku, Chromecast, and a dvd player yes, and no it will accept most resolutions, 720p 1080p and 4K sources, but it's a native resolution is 1080p.

Yeah it's compatible I've used mine with the 4k Chromecast device. But you will only get 1080p output from the Chromecast and the projector. I was using the 4k Chromecast in this review Hope this helps 🙂👍

Yes if you select shut down lens reset in the settings. When you turn the projector off the lens will pull back in its originall position so you have room to put the lens cap on. Or you could just use manual focus and unfocus the lens yourself by pulling back the focus so you can stick the cap back on. Hope this helps 🙂👍

No idea buddy as I don't have an apple mobile phone only android. But It should work on both devices, it will be something in your phone settings under restrictions that you need to correct most likely.

I have 4 projectors and they all have fan noise unfortunately, no projector is whisper quiet due to the amount of cooling they need to dissipate the heat away from the LED chip. The P64 is 55dB coming out the machine, and around 35dB a few feet away. You soon get use to the fan noise after a while, just try not to concentrate on it to much, with a good sound bar In front you will hardly notice it. When your new to projectors this can seem concerning and annoying, but after a few movies you ears will be use to the fan noise. With a good set of Bluetooth headphones, or a good sound system you shouldn't notice it to much. :)

@@havocki Hi thank for your comment, these are budget projectors, so they have to cut costs somewhere. You have to remember the brands you mentioned are 2 3 4 times the price of this projector.

No with this projector is has a really good keystone, so it can be pointed slightly at an angle and still receive a straight picture. The auto correction should do a decent enough job when projecting straight onto a wall. However, if you already have a screen that's on the wall, then the manual keystone setting may be a lot better for a perfect squared image. Hope this helps 🙂👍

No it will let you if you are connected to your playstation with hdmi 🙂👍 You just can't wireless stream Netflix from your phone to the projector.

Story mode games, platform games, and retro games are fine, but anything like FPS games and racing games there's quite a bit of latency.

I'm not sure, I don't have a big power bank to test this, if you mean the small ones you charge phones and laptops with then definitely not. If it's the big huge power banks you take camping then it might be possible depending on power output. Maybe contact wimius I'm sure they will have the answer.. :)

It certainly does my friend :) it works great with this machine. I've tested the 4k max firestick, and the 4k Chromecast both work flawlessly with this projector. It will only be native 1080p but I've streamed 4k files and it plays them perfectly. Hope that helps 😊 The

Hi thanks for your comment, this projector is only a 1080p projector and even tho it says it will except a 4k signal. On the 4k devices I've tested this projector with such as the new 4k firestick, and the 4k Chromecast it will not allow a 4k signal and still says 1080p in the resolution settings. @@ReviewingHub Thank you! I bought an Apple TV 4k wifi and connected it to the projector. Believe it or not: it’s shows 2160p instead of 1080p. After some tweaking in the picture settings, the projection has now a much beter quality.

Hi thanks for your comment, the K1 has a brighter picture because it has 300 more ANSI lumens. But the K1 is more expensive so this is to be expected. As for sharpness they are both great! sharpness can vary between projectors, you can have 4 of the exact same projector and they will all have different sharpness levels despite them being all the same brand and model. So that question is hard to answer. Both machines you should be happy with, go with the one you personally like the look of the best, and the projector that's within your budget :)

Hi it doesn't state the frame rate anywhere in the manual, and I can't find the frame rate specifications anywhere online.. I don't have any specific tools to test the frame rate, but judging by my eyes and playing games on my Xbox series X it feels more like a 30hz projector to me.. Hope this helps 🙂👍

Oooh that sounds interesting I would be interested in seeing your handy work. Always like to see people's projector modifications. How different is the sound now after your modification?

@@ReviewingHub It sounds good, keep in mind that apart from changing speakers you have to improve the acoustics of the box, it is not the best... I feel that there is no equalizer to increase the bass that is absent, or the sound card is not full range .. I am left wondering if the two speakers are stereo or mono... speakers installed with aiyima neodymium 1.75 inches 15w... they are perfect... I would need to change the membranes, but first we have to turn up the bass to see if it is worth it worth the change

​@@joseluisbustamantealiste3590 yeah I can imagine adding the sound proofing helped with the vibration considerably especially when you turn the sound up. Was the speakers removable? Or did you need to unsolder them? And solder new ones on. I'm thinking a nice set of JBL sepakers would be nice ha ha I guess they most likely don't make any that small. This sounds really interesting, shame you didn't video the modification, I would have loved to of seen it. 🙂👍

@@ReviewingHub You have to unsolder and solder the new ones, the box comes with two 79mm long bass membranes, one asia afura and the other asia the interior...with the equalizer on the card the membranes hardly move, in the same way they are not of good quality... the mids and highs improved a lot, at maximum volume there is no distortion or vibrations... the only thing missing is the equalizer. Sound equal to or superior to the JBL Flips 5, with less bass. The projector does not come with an audio equalizer???

I'm not sure if it has any sound settings it's been a while since I have had it on, if it's not in my review then it probably isn't on the machine. If you do manage to find sound settings in the UI then please let me know so I can stand corrected. Maybe I missed or over looked that in the review 🙂👍 I usually like modding things myself so this information was very valuable and I may have a go myself at a later date. Just on the curiosity basis 🙂👍

It doesn't have VLC player inside no, I haven't tested it with AVI files but I should imagine it would play them. You can plug a fire stick in the back or a roku, Google Chromecast etc and download VLC player. Just plug any HDMI stick into the back and turn it into a smart projector 🙂👍

Hi thank you for your comment 🙂 The P64 has a lot better inbuilt sound overall, but you have a soundbar so this doesn't matter so much. The P64 has automatic focus and automatic keystone when you power the projector on, were as the P63 doesn't have these features. The P64 has a much sharper picture, and a little more brightness level compared to the P63. They both work fine for Xbox without stuttering but the input lag and frame rate seems a little slow, but for most games it should be fine if not play competitively. The P63 does have a manual electric focus system and vertical keystone correction, and you manually correct the horizontal setting in the settings using the 4 point keystone. So the P64 automatically does it all for you, whilst the P63 doesn't as much. But it is fully adjustable electrically on the P63 without getting up and adjusting it manually on the machine itself. So focus and keystone are easy enough anyway on the P63. It's up to you which one you think it's best, they both have their differences. But the P64 is a slightly better machine in terms of build quality, and picture performance, whilst it lacks the android TV part built into the machine that the P63 has. So I hope this helps you 🙂👍

Hi thanks for your comment 🙂👍 Both are excellent machines, the P64 has 100 Ansi lumens more on paper, and you can stream music from your phone to the projector, so you can use the P64 as a Bluetooth speaker. P62 is far more portable, it comes with it's own backpack, and has better adjustable feet on the bottom for multiple heights. The P64 only has 2 adjustable heights. I prefer the P62 over the P64 personally for the portablity, and adjustable heights. But both are fantastic machines, it just depends what you like the look of more. Hope this helps 🙂👍

So i ordered the p62 but had some odd marks on the display that shone light around them i tried to clean but wouldnt come off so shipped it back now ordered the p64 as it was on offer i assume the p64 is newer than the p62 i dont care abiut thr bag as its ceiling mounted :)

Thanks for your comment :) I don't know the exact measurement in milliseconds as of yet but in the comments section down below someone did mention it wasn't great for gaming. If I had to guess I would say between 35-55ms but that's just me guessing. Wimius might have the exact number for you if your reach out to them. I don't play games on my projectors I just watch films as I like my response times to be fast, so I always play on monitors. for competitive FPS games it might be challenging. But for casual driving games, and RPG type games like assassin's creed odyssey, or platform games, etc this projector will be great on the big screen. Anything competitive I would stick with a monitor, most these LED projectors are around 25- 60 ish range. Let me know how you get on with it :)

@@ReviewingHub Thanks mate! I was thinking for on casual games rather than competitive games, but 35 to 55ms even if it's your estimate sounds reasonable for games like that (Mario Kart or casual games of the sort). Thank you for your response!

Hi mate Do you mean the P62 over the P64? This is a tough one to answer for me as I love both machines, and both have the advantages over the other. I will try to break it down a little better. The P64 has a little more brightness on the spec sheet, it also has better sound from the projector, it also has the ability to be used as a Bluetooth speaker. The P64 disadvantage atleast for me was the fold out feet, you can only have the projector set at 2 heights so if you already have a screen installed on the wall in a certain position like I have the 2 feet wasn't good enough to projector my picture were I wanted it because of the 2 level adjustment limitation. If you don't already have a screen installed then this might not matter so much to you, as you can just set your screen were you want it at the 2 heights the projectors capable of. Also it's a lot bigger and clunky to carry around so it's not really portable as much as the P62. The P62 is smaller, lighter, comes with it's own rucksack that's easily portable and can be taken and set up anywhere. The P62 also uses the traditional method of a threaded foot on the bottom of the projector so can be adjusted at many heights with lots of fine adjustment. Both are excellent machines, but it's what your prefer really. Portability, or just a 1 location home projector. 🙂👍 Hope this helps 🙂👍

Well I notice the P64 is more recent and with the few more features you already mentioned and I’m able to buy that currently only £10 more than the older P62 hence why I was thinking no point buying P62. I won’t be carrying it around much so just home but then if I need to I can deal with the bigger size over the less brightness on P62. So looking more like P64 is winning. If I could get the K2s at similar or close price then it would have been a no brainer. Thanks a lot again 🙏

For me the wimius P64 is the better machine from my experience, the Apollo P40 wasn't as sharp as the wimius P64. Both machines say they accept a 4k signal however, when I tested them on an Amazon 4k fire stick they was only displaying 1080p signal in the display settings. The Apollo P40 makes a horrible buzzing noise when it's on an off, I've also reviewed the P40 on my channel. Also the Apollo P40 without a UV lens modification sucks in a lot of dust due to the sliding door on the lens. There is a huge gap were the door slides across were dust enters the machine. The wimius P64 is sharper, and has better dust resistance. Also the sound is a lot better on the P64. So my opinion the P64 is the better machine. At least from the sample I reviewed of the Apollo P40. You may get an Apollo P40 that doesn't make a noise and is a lot sharper then my version I reviewed. You need to subscribe to the higher package if you want 4k on Netflix, also it's a full Hd projector, so the projector will downscale the signal to 1080p it won't be real 4k hope that helps.

I don't have it set up right now mate, so I can't check at the moment. but it should be all in the system settings somewhere.. I think if you hold down the 3 lines button on the remote that brings up your picture Presets and you can change everything in there.. Let me know if that works, if not I'll set it back up Tomo and check for you. 🙂👍

It comes in 16:9 but I'm almost sure you can change the aspect ratio to 4.3 if needed 🙂👍

Hi, 👋 Yes the Wimius P64 can be mounted to the ceiling. I haven't tested the K9 but it's Wimius latest model so this should be better than the p64. Because the K9 has built in android, and has a higher level of brightness according to the specs. Hope this helps 🙂👍

Hi I've just looked up that model, your right they look very similar, it looks like the unicview 2000 has android TV built into the operating system, this is something the wimius P64 doesn't't have. Also the P64 doesn't have a Lan port, were as the model you mentioned has one. Hope that helps. :)

Hi, If you are connected to the internet you should be able to do an over the air update if this is not available if you contact Wimius they should be able to provide you with the update files. You then just put the update files onto a usb stick and select update via usb, or it may detect the update on the usb stick as soon as you boot the projector. Let me know how you get on 😊👍

Hi there, I've tried looking online and I can't seem to find the update files online either. So your best bet is to contact Wimius and they should be able to send you the update files for this projector. They are pretty friendly and great at replying so it's worth contacting them. I do think it's strange that there's no online update when your running an older version. Have you tried using a VPN? or you could try connecting it to another network there could be some strange restriction on the network. If you have internet on your phone, you could turn on WiFi hotspot and connect the projector to your phones internet and search for an online update see if that changes anything. But your best bet is to try and install the update maunally via USB. Hope this helps you 🙂👍

@@ReviewingHub Thank you for taking the trouble, I've written to them and have yet to receive a reply. I have a VPN, but not on my router. I use it via software on my PC, TV and smartphone. It's probably a geographical restriction, I'm in Belgium. As the projector also offers a local upgrade, this file should be available on the Internet. Otherwise, I've figured out how to access the zoom, you have to deactivate the automatics. Too bad zoom isn't on the remote control, like focus.

Hi there I wouldn't worry about it just yet if you only have 1 black spot on the screen. I Know 1 spot can seem annoying once you've noticed it. But I would wait until it gets to multiple pieces before you attempt to clean it. The reason being by opening the door to clean the projector, you can let far more dust particles into the projector in the attempt to clean it, which will annoy you even more. Trust me, I've been here many times ha ha. Usually on most projectors, there is a small little door under the sticker on the bottom of the projector. I'm not sure if that's where the door is on this projector as I haven't looked. But you usually get big long cotton swabs that you can use to swipe over the LCD to remove the dust which is causing the black spots. From my experience, this only works occasionally's and you will probably let far more dust into the machine when you have the door open trying to clean it. The best way to remove the black spots is buy a hand held rocket blower of eBay or amazon, the ones you squeeze, not the electric ones! Then make sure the door is open and facing the floor so dust can fall out of the bottom when you blast air into the projector with the rocket blower. Try keeping the door facing the floor at all times to limit the amount of dust in the air falling into the machine. I've helped multiple people this way, and it's the best option rather than using the swabs. If the swabs and rocket blower fail, the only way to remove the dust is to do a total teardown of the projector and remove the LCD for cleaning, usually with a lens cloth or a soft bristle brush. Hey is it possible to use simultaneously a bluetooth speaker and the native sound of the P64 ? I don t manage to do it. I use an amazon fire tv stick . The sound only comes from the external bluetooth speaker. Thanx

That's a good question and I'm not 100% sure as I haven't tried to do this. But I don't think it's possible out of the box. you may need extra devices to make that work. I'm sure there must be a way tho 🙂👍

If your regularly transporting your projector moving from place to place then the P62 and P63 will be the better options. The auto focus and auto keystone is an excellent feature especially for quick setup and especially for people with bad eyes, or the elderly as it just automatically does everything for you.. However, it's not much of a big deal without this feature.. , in fact I always have mine turned off in the settings on all my projectors.. As I like to dial in my focus as sharp as possible, and with the projector automatically focusing every time you turn the projector on, you always get different levels of focus so you end up manually doing it anyway as you think to yourself I can get it shaper than that .. And alot of the time you actually can by doing it yourself.. So it's not a major deal if you don't have this feature, but it is ideal to have especially for the elderly, or someone that doesn't have 20/20 vision, this feature is certainly an excellent feature to have even if you don't use it.. But I have mine turned off on all my machines, so this must tell you something 🙂👍

I can't say I've experienced this problem with the P64, you can adjust the brightness levels, and the colours in the picture mode settings you should be able to fully adjust all these settings to suit your needs. I'm guessing you already tried all this though, the image is on par with my Wimius P62 projector, I haven't had any issues with this projector in my testing it's been perfect. 🙂👍

It's rated at 200,000 hours on various listings. Obviously this isn't something I can test in my review Hope this helps 🙂👍

​@mauriciob8260 This I haven't tested using a 4K physical media disk connected to the projector. However, people have stated to me that it will not accept 4k inputs and it will only accept 1080p sources. The projector only outputs at 1080p resolution. So you will most likely need to change it to 1080p on your Blu-ray player if the projector doesn't pick it up. You can stream 4k footage on Kodi and RU-vid etc but still will only be 1080p resolution Now's the time to get one being black Friday it's currently only £170 which is a steal at this price 🙂👍 Please let me know when you get one if your Blu-ray player worked using the 4k setting. Hi thanks for your comment 🙂 there is a setting on this projector somewhere in the settings that when you power the projector off, the lens will pull back and reset. Off the top of my head, I think it's called shutdown lens reset. So when you power off the projector the lens will pull back and reset back into its original position so you can then stick the lens cap back on. Or alternatively just manually de-focus the lens yourself by retracting the lens far enough so you then can stick the cap back on. If you have the autofocus setting turned on, then soon as you power the projector back on the lens will focus again, which the lens should roughly go back to the original position before you turned the projector off. Hi, this projector is capable of projecting an image of 300 inches. Here is the throw distance specs 1.6m 49" 2m 60" 2.5m 75" 3m 93" 3.5 105" 4m 125" 4.5m 141" 5m 157" 6m 300" With a margin of 3% inaccuracy. If you go online and type in throw distance calculator put in the Wimius P64 what size you need and you should get the exact measurements. Hope this information helps you 🙂👍

The Wimius P62 and P64 are great projectors for the price.👍 Keep in mind they are not smart projectors so you would need to plug in a smart device into the back of the hdmi port suck as a fire stick, Google Chromecast, Roku, etc These projectors are great for movies, but when it comes so gaming they are a little slow for racing games and FPS games. Not a big difference in performance I think the P64 has 50 ANSI lumens more which is hardly noticeable. And the P64 has slightly better sound from the speakers, and you can use the projector as a Bluetooth speaker. It all depends what projector you like more and what features you need. The p62 is lighter and smaller and easy to take anywhere as it comes with its own rucksack which is very handy. Hope this helps 🙂👍

No there is no standard 1/4 thread mounting hole in the bottom. However, I do believe there is 4 mounting holes underneath the 4 rubber feet on the bottom of the projector. So you should be able to buy a mounting bracket for it. please let me know if this is correct as its been a while since i reviewed it. im pretty sure that was written in the user manual. I don't have any experience with the K1 my friend, but I know that projectors around 450 ANSI lumens and the P64 is rated at 600 Ansi lumens so I would say you should notice a difference and it's worth the upgrade 🙂👍

Hi thanks for your comment. Fan noise is 55dB coming straight out of the projector, if you stand 3ft away it falls to around 35dB . My projector is about 2.9m away from my screen and around a ft away from the back wall, the fan kicks air out of the side of the projector, so you don't need to leave loads of room at the back of the projector. Can I ask you a question? Do people really care about fan noise? Aren't they hearing audio for the movie or tv show? Ive had a Wimius K8 for months now and never thought about the fan....cos audio is playing from whats being projected lol

Yes it works for gaming my friend, I've played series X on it just fine 🙂👍 But it is only a 30hz projector so just keep this in mind. 🙂👍 Great for RGG games, platform games, story type games etc. But may be a little slow when it comes to FPS type games and high speed driving games. But they are perfectly playable on this projector. 🙂👍

There is no netflix on this projector you will need a firestick or Chromecast or something similar to hook up to the HDMI port. Hope this helps 🙂👍

Have you found them my friend? I don't have the P64 set up right now, but off the top of my head, if you hold down the M button or the 3 lines button it should bring up the picture menu settings when your on a HDMI source. Let me know if this works, if not I'll set the projector up and talk you through it 🙂👍

@@ReviewingHub Yeah, I figured it out that it works on HDMI. I was initially trying to access the picture settings while playing a video from USB, that doesn't work.

​@fullofmysteries somebody else pointed this out to me after my review. If you reach out to wimius and let them know this, they may provide an over the air update. The more people reach out to them and let them know this issue they will hopefully fix this in an update. They are a really friendly and thier customer service is excellent so they should reply to you 🙂👍 I will set mine up Tomo and see if I can figure it out, if I can't find a solution I'll also reach out to them and let them know this issue 🙂👍

I've been informed that picture settings are not available when your playing from a USB source. But I haven't checked this to confirm this yet. But if you hold down M on the remote, or menue the button with the 3 lines on. For 2 or 3 seconds.. I'm pretty sure this brings up a quick shortcut to the picture settings . Let me know if this works! If not I'll set it up Tomo and talk you through it 🙂👍

Most likely due to my phone recording the screen, the good thing about this projector is you can adjust the saturation and white balance sharpness in the picture settings. So you can adjust the picture to your liking.

Wimius P64 is a better machine overall. It's far more sharper has better sound quality, doesn't make a whining noise either like the P40 does. I've reviewed the ultimea Apollo P40 on the channel I wasn't impressed with it's performance.
