We discuss how we have found shooting the MXT-10 limbs. Issues from shooting them, how they compared and then we shoot some arrows indoors and discuss our findings. www.archerysho...
Excellent. Great to see you are enjoying these limbs. My son, 13 years old is shooting with the same limbs, 42 Lb, long. He too says there is excellent rhythm in these limbs.
2# on a recurve really is a noticeable difference. I felt like saying that before when you said it wasn't, but it looks like you figured that out. I don't think I'd go up a full spine, I'd just trim 1/4-1/2" off the arrow length to stiffen it up.
For recreational shooters I would recommend not shooting every day, but every other day to allow for better recovery. AFAIK one day is enough for the small shoulder muscles to recover. The larger muscles need more but generally one doesn't injure the large ones in archery. If one is young or have great technique, or lighter limbs it might be perfectly safe to shoot every day. But I play it safe as in 2017 my shoulders went somewhat bad after shooting every day for an extended period (shoulders are good now).
@@dominicdiclemente8877 Yeah it’s crazy but top archers believe it is necessary to compete at the elite level. I’m happy to shoot 100 arrows a day but that’s ok because I just break balloons in my back yard.
@@henrik_worst_of_sinners I started shooting 100 arrows a day when the covid lockdown started. I had to sell my house and remodel the new house so I havent shot in 6months, feels like Ill have to start back at step1.
just try 8125 G 20 strings , XS+ UUKHA AND MXT10 they don't like soft strings , and try at 70 m also 90m specially 90m . my uukha xs+ 40# limbs gave me same problem left and once awhile straight . I started to blame my self also, until I have grabbed the right string by luck.
