I have an action prepared with VBS. I have defined a cyclic trigger for this action and it doesn't work at all. But when I write thie same script into a button click event, it works fine (within seconds). By the way, Global Script Runtime is enabled. I am stuck at this point and I really need some help. here is my code,same code work fine with button click cmd,but during cyclic tigger it shown Type mismatch: Error line 12

Is it possible to insert data into tag logging DB with timestamp and value (like TLGInsertArchivData in WinCC v7)? Do you maybe have video for it?

if you log tags into sql using historical log then it logs the data with timestamp. in case you are doing with script , you can create two local tags for date and time and log them with your required tags.

I assume you have 5 PLC in network with 1 wincc scada. then same script can be used. just tag number will be different.

After inserting data , save excel file as new name instead of just save.

WinCC can read data from simulator, so by the method shown , it's possible.

Define in Scheduled Task of WinCC and set 'Trigger' as per your requirement.

I have used exctly same script! It does not work for me? when I check the excel file says read only I press ok but no data is showing ( been writeen) ? can you help ?

it is when you required to log in custom format.. code can be customized as required !

@@StableAutomation Now I can export my data to Excel-file but when I write new data, my new data will replace old data. I don't know how to fix it. I wanna when I update data it's auto down the line. thank you very much.
