hey buddy did u think I can use one of those dolley for a mustang 04 v8 ? uhaul rules say no but I'm going lie .I going say is for a small car like corolla this should be work Chris?
I bet U-Haul loved seeing this as this Voids any Damage to the dolly or the Vehicle? Tow Dolly's rented from them Prohibit the use of towing a Full Size vehicle with one of their Dolly's?
No, you will most likely end up upside down in the ditch if you try that. Even if you tie the wheel down with a strap (the built in lock isn't strong enough) the car could still start to weave on you and spin you around. Tow trucks get away with it because their lift is attached directly to the truck and they can raise the car higher(has to do with how cars are aligned).
I use one of those smaller cheap manual cable style winch to pull cars up on my dolly I hook one end to the hitch when the safety chain hooks 2 and the other end on the car ,pulls it right up. alot less compilated than what this guys doin
@allboostnojuice at 3:53 you can see how it is done, i wouldnt like it taking up bed space. look at something called winch wizard, i will probly make something like that
its not just against U-hall policy to Paul full size vehicles on the dollies's its actually a against federal law by the Department of Transportation to tow full size vehicles on dollies, that's why they make dollies narrow to stop you from trying to get big vehicles on them, from what I understand its a $600 ticket if you get caught with a full size vehicle on one
if you hual knew what truck you were loading and with what truck you were hualing it.. they wouldnt if had rewnted it to you.. lol dont let dot see that shit..lol
baaahahahahaha oh yeah its a good thing you put those 2 x whatevers down for wheel chocks im sure a truck wouldnt be able to roll over a 1.5 inch board hahahahahaha
