Thank you for the video. One could use a strap between the two front shackles (like a tree saver strap) then connect the winch line to it. This will distribute the load on the shackles. Always good to reduce the stress on any equipment if able.

Hey Brian another great video I reached out to you a while back about my 2021 Maverick Trail 1000 that the dealer installed the power flip window which I really like worked fine and then now it’s starting to go up uneven you told me to tell them to detach some things and re-hook it back up they did that but they said that this is just the way it works even on the other power flipping they installed in their other maverick trails you were going to check on your power flip windows cause you said you had a bunch ordered for your other vehicles just curious if you had a chance to see if the dealer is correct that this is a normal thing with those power flip windows thank you

We are just now installing our Power Flip windshields in our rental units. I should have a definite answer for you soon, I think we ordered eight of them so we’ll have a good idea if that’s true or not.

You're actually incorrect about one thing. That shackle in the configuration shown is only bearing 5,500 lbs. The other 5,500 lbs is being born by the winch. 11,000 pounds at the tree, and 11,000 lbs at the winch loaded equally on the winch and the shackle.

I agree with you and appreciate your comment @McCraken216. The point of the video is to let people know the shackle they are using is rated for the double line pull. This video was also reviewed by WARN, we are trying to keep it simple and not loose people in a physics lesson. Thank you for watching buddy. 👍

All of the winch’s and accessories are based off of a single line pull

As far as capacity yes to keep it simple, but all WARN accessories are rated to a double line pull.

The question was, “can the WARN 5,500 lb. shackle handle a double line pull at 11,000 LBS.” the info I provided from WARN is not promoted so the customers don’t get confused. 👍🏼
