Yep, here in my outdoor shop its seldom a day without a breeze that would blow away all shielding gas. On the flux core wire look for T-11 and not T-GS wire since they usually cost about the same however the T-11 will be more consistent plus better supports multi-pass structural welding while T-GS is single pass unless you do a lot of grinding between passes. Just had some fun welding some old re-bar that had been buried underground since 1940 and perhaps earlier that still looked great and almost like new with its green zinc chromate coating. My bad since when I went to weld it was when I finally saw it was hot copper dipped and not a chromate finish as the first bead just fell off with the flux since the copper was so thick and preventing the steel from welding. They sure put the copper on thick back then and its was a chore removing enough copper at each joint to be able to weld the steel behind it. Best!

If you don't plan on building more, your new board jack is a hot item to sell ( renting it out might turn out badly ). Doing your epoxy floor first was the way to go so you get coverage sill to sill since in the future itsillallow for a level over floor if you want to change it to tile etc 🗿👽🗿

Sad you went with can lights when you could have used flush mounted LED pucks 🗿👽🗿

The canned lights are LED. We too love the epoxy down first before the mudding begins. Puck lights will happen when we build the mantel for the fire place. We will just use a little bit of everything😂😂😂
