I absolutely love pump action rifles and rimfires. It boggles my mind that they are not more prominently represented in the modern marketplace. Great video brother, thanks for posting.
Fun little video, I had the Remington version pump 22. I don't remember the model number. Had issues sighting it in only to find out the front sight was loose in the dove tail slot. Ended up trading it off for a Winchester 94/22. Really enjoyed the video, thanks...
Thanks for watching Mike! Maybe it was an old Remington fieldmaster? Although I think you did well with the trade in getting a 94/22. Those were wonderful rifles.
Awesome! Personally, I'd be tapping the sight just ever so slightly because I guess I'm a perfectionist want to be, lol. But you got it shooting great. Now you have a really fun gun to plink with.
Thanks Cervus! Funny thing is, after editing and watching my own video, I felt the same way. I should have tapped it to the left just a little bit more.
Gorgeous gun. I always wanted a nice one. I saw one at a LGS a few months ago, but it was in sad shape. They still wanted a lot for it, but it had pitting under a poor reblue job, so I didn’t even look further at it. Someday, maybe.
Thanks for watching John! It is a bit harder to find ones in decent shape, but they are out there. Hopefully you'll eventually come across one that isn't too pricey!
Nice! I have an old Rossi clone that's sadly out of commison. Did you try it with 22 shorts, as a gallery gun the sights might be better regulated for that ammo?
Thanks for watching CommandZee! I have not tried it with shorts yet. I'll give them a run next time to see how they cycle. Sorry to hear about your Rossi. I had one of the Taurus clones (the shorter carbine length) a long time ago. I liked it a lot but gave it to another family member who needed a rimfire for their kid. Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend!
