In my opinion he hair is unique

His hair being half black and white seems to me very weird but his hairstyle very cool and not crazy.

Its cuz its Japan. Traditionally Japan likes conformity, there was even an issue with schools there that would forced mixed Japanese students to dye their hair black if it was a natural light color.
