Talk to a owner operator truck driver that hauls produce cost of fuel was 1200 to deliver now its 3600 for the same load that does not include the other prices that have doubled to keep trucks moving.

Stock up at Costco on dried blueberries, raisins, Bare dried apples, and seaweed snacks or shiitake mushroom snacks. They keep and are actually better for you during the winter months. Food prices are crazy in the states too. If you can find eggs they are $4/dz Butter is nearly $5/lb

Food prices are crazy in the USA as well! A doz of eggs now cost anywhere from five dollars at Aldi's and upward to 8 dollars, non organic, white eggs, store brand.

A dozen non-organic eggs at my local grocery store yesterday cost $9 due to record inflation and new local laws dictating what types of eggs are now allowed to be sold where I live. In my 40 years I’ve never seen food prices like this. I feel really lucky to be able to afford things right now, but it’s really hurting millions of families and low income earners.

Ontario here. I work in a restaurant, 2 weeks ago we paid $11 for ONE red cabbage. And a case of Romaine lettuce is $170. So if your favorite restaurant isn't doing salads. Now you know why.

Food: You can do it. For fresh, sprout lentils, peas, and beans. Rehydate stuff. You don't have to feel you're being held hostage by $$ food prices. This will change. Think about interior gardening, you've got the time, there's light. Unfortunately it is what it is. Pretend you're on a boat and it'll be a time before you can get to land.

Bananas are cheap and frozen is best. They stay longer in the freezer. Take the skin off and throw them in a freezer bag and BAM Bananas when ever you want it!

Those prices are insane. Everywhere is expensive now, I am in Scotland and the same thing is happening here. Not quite that bad mind you. A tub of strawberries is around $2.80. They are very easy to grow here mind you.

I don't buy anything organic. Eat the same way I did growing up in South Jersey. Batched cooked chili Sat. and got 6 meals out of it, 4 in the freezer. Bought a rotisserie chicken and divided it into 4 meals. I buy a bag of oranges for the week. My jumbo eggs went up to $5 but it lasts me 2 weeks. I buy salad bowls marked down at Walmart.

Food and fuel prices are extremely high in Australia as well. Where I live in regional South West Australia availability of many products is either nonexistent or limited also. Supply is a real issue. Worldwide problem unfortunately. Love your vids, love seeing some of your most beautiful country.

It could be Superstore is more expensive. I usually get groceries at Walmart and it aint as pricey. Or maybe it's more expensive in northern part of Vancouver Island. Here in the Fraser Valley not as bad. Groceries definitely gotten pricier for sure. This week broccolis are $4.99/ lb as opposed to $2.99. I think eating seasonal might help a tiny bit. Its not berry season right now.

Have Emi put her node as high as possible in her van. Her fiberglass high top will let a lot more signal get through than the metal van body, which blocks it. That’s what I did with my Starlink router, and I get great range.

Food prices are insane here in Northern Europe too. For vegetables the cheapest (and best quality) source right now seems to be buying direct from local farmers. They are struggling too and really need that extra income they can get from selling direct to consumer instead of distributors.

Same here in Melbourne, Australia. Prices for fresh food are ridiculous. Sad state of affairs when the junk food aisle is the only affordable way to get your daily calories. As others have said, frozen vegetables from China are the only way to eat healthy without going broke. :-(

Cost of living is just rediculous now and peoples wages never go up to match the cost of living so all they are doing is slowly taking more and more away from people yet alot of people don't see it that way they say oh that's life, but no, that's how the system works against us they get richer while we get poorer 🤷. There is however other ways of getting food FOR FREE! there is this great channel called sharing the wild he shows people what's edible where to find it amongst other things, great channel 😉🤣. LOL, i remember the shock of a small town grocery store, before the gas cost hike of all healthy food. LOL, as gas hike prices increased healthy food...i went from fresh organic, to frozen organic, then to conventional frozen. LOL, i had always thought i stopped having 'sleep' in my eyes when i went Vegan [mostly organic] over a decade ago. i was wrong! As soon as i switched to conventional frozen, "sleep" in my eyes. Fuel for my body versus fuel for my vehicle??...my body wins...'sleep' spoke loudly. Note to self: shop ahead

Romaine hearts aren't $8 because it's "that time of year." That romaine he was looking at, based on what I see in the produce department I work in at Albertson's, should be around $4.99USD/$6.69CAD right now. at $8, there's more to it than seasonal pricing for leaves of lettuce.

Hi everyone. Many reasons for prices being crazy but number one by far is fuel!! Trucks and farm equipment all need diesel to run so it all starts right there.
