I am 70 years old I have been a minister for over 30 years and I just want to sit and talk and listen to and dig into the mind of Steven furtick so I can see how his mind works it is amazing to me

I was so close to dropping out of my studies for my Bachelors degree in Law.. then I saw this sermon. This is the second sermon that I have watched from yourself and I only found your channel a few days ago. I have since booked back onto my degree and even though I have three kids and a full time job and I know that it is going to be hard, I know that as long as I keep my eyes on the Lord and not thinking of everything that could go wrong, I will get this degree done. Thank you for giving me the smack over my head that I needed before I threw the past three years of study away.

I’m an associate pastor at my church and yesterday morning just a couple of hours before you shared this message at your church (I’m in Holland 🇳🇱) I preached this same message!!! This is God’s message to the people at this time. Why do I say this? I wrote this message a year ago and every other time I had the opportunity to preach, God gave me a different word. This was His timing. This was conformation for me personally. So Gods people, listen to this message again and redirect your focus back to Jesus. God bless you 🙏🏾

Just because the devil started the storm doesn't mean God won't use it. That moment when God is closest is the same moment the wind blows the strongest. The wind may be against me but God is right here.

There something refreshing about this Pastor, and its the fact that hes real. He doesnt pretend to be this saint that has no faults or mistakes. He a servant of god, but he doesnt hide the fact that hes human( with the same guilty pleasures and feelings as everyone else).

Focus on the Word and not the wind, the anointing is timeless, Thank You JESUS

As I face the one year anniversary of my mum's sudden death I thank you god for sending me this message through elevation church to stay strong and focussed and trust in god even in the darkest of moments

God, I trust you. You will move, because I believe in You. Four weeks ago, my husband's car was stolen, 3 days ago we got him a replacement vehicle, two days ago a drunk driver, our neighbor hit my parked vehicle, that and the insurance will give me a check for the right amount for my replacement vehicle, He will take care of our needs, our finances, and He's bigger than our ok credit. But most of all, my husband and I prayed for mercies and graces all over the places when the cops cuffed him. God is working, He is moving all over this land because we believe. His eye is on us. Oh how He loves us! Thank you ABBA Father!

I wasn’t even going to watch this. I was going to watch a Jeffrey star video. And it went to this sermon. I was going to click back because I’ve heard this one before. But I stayed and listened. This sermon was speaking to me. Everything happening in my life it was like I had to hear it again to understand it more but everything he said even about writting a book was on point lol I know God has a bigger purpose in my life and I have been a wind watcher. Today I make that change and watch the word.

God is good. Today is my birthday. I had to quit my job about 3 weeks ago, I don’t have the amount of money I would like to have in my bank, my bills are coming up, Christmas is around the corner, and to top it all, it’s my 4th day fighting a nasty flu. I was awaken at 2:30am by THE WIND. I laid in bed thinking about what is next for me! I felt anxiety and depression. And though it may not sound like I am going through a lot, it is certainly a storm for me. I had a decent paid job, I had plans for myself and my family, but I did not expect a storm. Not being able to sleep, I literally opened RU-vid to watch a video that would either give me a good laugh to temporarily forget about the anxiety or something boring enough to put me back to sleep. But God is good. Although this message was from 2 months ago, i came across it when I needed it the most. It is a great reminder to keep my eye on Jesus although I am walking in the storm.

"If your life is built on the foundation of his word, then no wind can range against you...." Simply blessed 😊

It's amazing how we Christians can subconsciously contradict ourselves from our faith in through situation, yet like pastor Steven said , "we believe in a God who loves us, no matter what." Found out my husband has cancer in his blood today. I'm gonna look at Jesus and not the waves. My faith is bigger than the circumstances, because JESUS is bigger than what I'm seeing.

I will shift my focus on the word by declaring God's promises at all times especially when the wind is against me. I am greater and God's timing is perfect. I might think I need a job now but God will allow me to get a job ON HIS TIME!! I will continue to help my church and participate in our events.

I almost drowned twice in my life, and both times God has saved me. There were probably many other bad things that could've happened to me, but the Lord has kept me safe. He's been with me my whole life so far and He's taken me this far, He's never going to give up on me (...For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)). I may be going through a storm right now, but I now know that the Lord is gonna meet me on the other side! I'm going to try and even if I have to take it one step at a time, I'm going to stop living by my feelings and by what my anxiety tells me, and start holding on to God's word and live by faith. God is not a liar, so if He says or promises something, it is most definitely true. Like I said earlier, God said "I will never leave you nor forsake you" and that's a promise. I got 2 pages of notes on this message. Wow. -It was the FORECAST that created fear of something that was NEVER in your future. Fire the Devil as your weatherman. -Peter didn't (just) walk on the water, he walked on the WORD. -Faith will always slip when you start consulting your feelings.

Im thankful every day that every time i failed and i drew close to god, he gave me a piece. And failed, then drew close to him and got s piece and i thanked god everyday for my health. Then the devil attacked and now i have conditions i was born with appeared and i failed BUT GOD...... After failing even worse than ever and realizing that i needed to turn from my sin.... God swooped me up and showed me mercy. And gave me my final piece and ive got peace and am certain that i am complete due to all the things shown to me now. Surrendering everything to god. I have never been happier. Find him. He never left u. Xoxoxo

For the past year,I have watched the wind.I’ve graduated last year,applied to uni 2 times,got denied both times.I will try again in january,but it has been hard to know if God is calling me to keep going or he is telling me to stop.I knew in my heart that for the past 4 years i could not imagine me studying anything other than psychology,but it got very hard when this year i found out that nobody believes,not even my family that i can do it.I gave in and started questioning everything,my ability and purpose,but i won’t do that again.Thank you Pastor Furtick for reminding me of trusting my Father’s timeline!He is never late💕

Woke up this morning can’t move my neck so in bed… listening to the song Faithful and the sun shone through the window illuminating the sun creating rays on a picture my son painted of a sun rise and made a rainbow next to a picture my other son Noah gave me. Now listening to this had I been able to move today would have missed the message the Son sent that I needed in the winds of life! Look for the Son illuminating your path in the storm! I know now for sure the what’s next! Thanks keep your eyes focused on the Son …our Father!

Day 104 ! Weather/Wind is meant to be checked not watched. Trusting God means trusting His timings too. Sometimes the feeling we have when we make a commitment will vary when we have to keep the commitment. That's why faith and feelings cannot go together. Awesome word! Thank you Pastor Steve. You have a gift of helping to confront and defeat the spirit of fear. You’re definitely a Word Walker, not a wind chaser. At first I thought you were going to talk about the Holy Spirit versus the Word of God, and how maybe we take the Word out of context, and are not following the Holy Spirit’s guidance and direction. But I was wrong. Usually the Word I’m reading is applicable to today. But I cannot always tell if the timing is now for what I’m believing God for. Sometimes I need a bit of preparation. Whatever, God is sovereign anyhow. So I’m stepping out on Faith, uncharted territory in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Praise God and Thank God for the Power of God to clarify my focus. God bless you Pastor Steven. This Word has encouraged and challenged me to step out on the Word and I’m very grateful even though conditions are not perfect. Thank you 🙏🏾

This is truly one of the BEST sermons I've ever heard in my life. I've been going through two years of a storm and I really thought I had lost my faith but now I know I lost my focus. But I'm now gonna intentionally fix my focus on God, even if the situation doesn't get better. Isaiah 50:7...Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

This is exactly what I have prayed for...”sometimes He calms the storm, sometimes He lets the storm rage on and He calms His child”. 🙏🏼 In my darkest hour, only He had my back, only He gave me the strength to carry on hour by hour, minute by minute and sometimes seconds at a time...thank you Pastor Furtick, I asked of you weeks ago to preach upon this, and Jesus led you to the verse and message I need...that so many need, that put the Word out from your mouth to prove that God is always and forever.
