I have your same winder, I love it and don’t realize how much it’s needed till I don’t cake and a ball get tangled out of a ball lol

👋 Burniadine! I recently acquired a plastic ball winder from Amazon. Only used a couple times so far. I still like winding myself... (shrug) 🌞

I have never tried one but it seems like a good idea!

I'm too cheap. I wind things by hand, and the few times I get hanked yarn, I use a big pillow thing and a wheelchair wheel instead of a swift.

My husband gifted me an umbrella swift (Amazon) and it works wonderfully. A few years back my plastic ball winder broke and he gifted me a very fancy wood ball winder. It does not work well but I don't have the heart to tell him so I struggle along and use it. I'd go back to a new plastic ball winder if I could.
