I cant help but think this song was never intended to become very big, since it only plays once in a small windmill. But damn, how it became one of the most iconic video game songs.
Grrrrrr... I'll never forget that day, seven years ago, *GRRRRR!!!!* It's all that *ocarina kid*'s fault! Next time he comes around here, I'll mess him up!!
I think he just copy-pasted the description of his Lost Woods video. But accidentally, he replaced the composer line with Windmill Hut, not the song line. Oops.
This song is a paradox. It has no beginning. Let me explain. When link shows up seven years on the future, the guy in the windmill hut is really mad and tells him about an annoying song that a kid played seven years ago. And when Link pulls out his ocarina the man teaches it to him. Then Link goes back in time and plays the song, therefore teaching the man in the windmill hut the song, which he didn’t know before, as he still wants a song that “goes around and around” (and I don’t think he was referring to the panning). ...But wasn’t the windmill hut man the one who taught it to us? Who made this song? Where did it come from? In the end, we learn that this song truly goes around and around, just like the windmill, in a never ending seven year loop.
I heard it in a sonic.exe fan game and almost shed a tear for some reason when I found the song I’m trying to play the Zelda games but I want to start with the first and go chronologically from there
@@SanicConnoisseur_91 hello!! this reply is a month old but if we're talking about chronological in terms of the story, the first game actually takes place late into the timeline (but aside from some games you can treat it like a standalone title). Hope you're finding the games fun!
🎶Do you hear raindrops fall, Do you hear the wind gust‘s call Do you hear the growls Of the thunderclouds Do you hear lightning bolts Striking down in different forms Do you hear the song of storms 🎶
Very fond memories. This game changed my entire life because it taught me lots of perseverance It was a very difficult game for an 11 year old kid, I must admit.
I wrote lyrics: _Round and round, round and round,_ _Spin-ning the old windmill hut,_ _There the storm will go,_ _Where it comes from, no one knows._ _Round and round, round and round,_ _Un-til the old well dries up,_ _Round and around, it will go!_
I remember watching my friend playing Ocarina of Time on his N64 when we were young. Amazing how this music track managed to stuck in everyone`s heads even though it only plays in a tiny room
What?! You've got an Ocarina!! What the heck! That reminda me if that time, seven years ago! Back then a mean kid came here and played a strange song. It messed up this windmill! I'll never forget this song!
@Drafty it also took me 2 years to fully complete the game, lol. i got it when i was sick at home in december 2019 and played through around 60% of the game, then forgot about it and eventually finished it sometime last year!
{[(***THIS IS A COPY OF THE COMMENT OF UltimateMustacheX (IN THE CHASE IT WOULD BE LOST OR DELETED) SO IT IS NOT MINE, THE RIGHTS GO TO UltimateMustacheX***)]} I had this song stuck in my head a few days ago. This was the result: Go around, go around A windmill in a little town Listen to this tune Of a storm that's coming soon Dark clouds grow, and a chill Cloaks the windmill on a hill Listen to the Song of Storms First the wind, then the rain Wash our troubles down the drain Thunder rolls above It fills our hearts with love Din, Farore, and Nayru Even they are dancing too Let's dance to the Song of Storms (Link played the Song of Storms) (Windmill speeds up) (7 years later, angry windmill guy) Lightning cracks, across the sky Making all the children cry This peaceful song of yore Is peaceful now, no more The notes were played, this melody Now all of the people see The power of the Song of Storms Din, Nayru, and Farore We can't take it anymore This cursed melody That once filled us with glee Now we face, nature's wrath Thanks to that kid in the past Playing the Song of Storms
During the pandemic, I was trying to play this song on a virtual piano, I still haven't lost hope of being able to memorize how each note sounds and so, when I have a piano, play it in front of the public or in front of whoever I want
Through the day Through the night, Teardrops fall down from the sky To the land we trot, For the ones we've lost. Gals and guys, We must fight, For the ones who cast the light. Sing the song of storms, Link.
I wrote some lyrics for fun instead of doing my math work So uhh enjoy Through the trees Through the leaves Wind will come-a-whistling Humming little songs Singing little tunes Through the rain Through the storm Wind will come-a-howling Singing the song of storms In the clouds In the sky Wind will whip around our hair Humming little songs Singing little tunes In the sea In the breeze Wind will come-a-whistling Singing the song of storms
