I tried doing this to my old Surface RT. It's all fun games until you realize you can't really download anything on it. The same thing goes for the Microsoft Store. It would show that the app isn't compatible with the device and such.
The windows version which nobel tech runs is actually not windowsNT, and its called WindowsRT, The OS he install is actually WindowsRT 10 which is a development build for SurfaceRT but soon cancelled due to the arm32 being slowly replaced with arm64
I have a surface pro 1, pretty good device to use as a display for apps like Alexa or Spotify and runs other apps quite well. But battery life is only about 1-2 hours
Astonishment! Is it as locked down as the version of windows 8 it came with was? I could never get windows 10 running on this when I had it many years ago.
No, and no. This build of Windows 10 is a leaked internal 15036 Insider Preview, the only ARM32 build of Windows 10 in existence. Since Windows 11 is 64-bit only, there’s no chance of that happening at all.
