As a 1 year AtlasOS (Windows 10 version) user I can says there is some annoying issue with this one (which I have not encountered with Revi for 1 year) At first it is indeed super fast but on long-term it's quite bad (still better than vanilla Win11 ofc) + Windows Update (when it's enable) is quite brocken, same for Defender and worst Explorer (I had to install File 2.0, since Explorer gave me BSOD) And I am not mentionning the security issues with Atlas And Atlas just scripts stored in a folder with a quite unsual layout, while Revi is full GUI which can be WAY better for a lot of users. And for ggOS just for information their GitHub had not been updated since 2 years (06/09/22)
u know my first custom win was revi os, then i started testing out all the different ones, atlas defiantly has trust issue with its security. i find ghost spectre to be far better in terms reliability and performance.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you found the OS comparison helpful, and that the gaming performance comparison was useful to you. I always try to provide comprehensive information in my videos, and I'm thrilled to know that it has been appreciated. Let me know if you have any other questions or topics you would like me to cover in future videos.
why is the apex legends REVI OS fps capped? literally looking at all the specs besides framerate REVI is barely using any resources on Apex but for some reason you capped it to 144?
Best comparison I have seen, thank you.. This has basically made my mind up for me, it is not worth installing any of these, if anything I am going to wait for Atlas 11.
thanks, a better version is also published recently, if you want to check it out here- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sri69idQV5g.html
The performance difference in favor of Atlas OS is purely based on more powerdraw, which shouldn't be affected by the OS itself, this seems like its been tampered with somehow in this comparison. can you comment on anything that could cause a higher power draw?
Well the Power Draw makes Sense. In some Games the GPU is not used to the max, because the CPU is the bottleneck. Because the CPU has less to so because of the custom os, it has more resources for the Game, leading to the GPU having more usage, therefore more FPS. So that means that the custom os does what it promises. Though that means If you CPU is good enough that the GPU is used to full usage, custom os's wont Change anything.
Has nothing to do with it. The reason is simple. Atlas uses 50-60 processes and 1.7 GB RAM with all installed drivers. You have basically a huge amount of extra CPU power left, that can be used. That's why the average fps is mostly better. But that isn't the important thing. The real benefits are the 1% lows. They're so much higher and run way smoother than on any other OS there is. They did a pretty good job and it's even useable on a productive system, if you don't surf 24/7 on pr0n crap or open every link you see.
the performance difference is mostly in cpu intensive game, you can see on rainbow six, cs ect it would be the same for valorant ( which is the game they benchmark on their advertising ) this is why on gpu intensive game we see almost no difference whichh is logic considering its gpu bound instead of cpu and debloating windows free some cpu usage
im a bit confused about the benchmarks there aswell, i know coustom installs/ deblouts can speed up a pc, but thats mostly only for old cpus, what im confused about is the vram usage, from my knowledge deblouting windows/coustom installs does not change the vram usage, it can change ram usage but not vram from what i know since the vram is the gpu memory thats used for example to store info about the game like texture, models and so on, ik vram can change depending what happends in the game but this is just to much of a change for me to think thats chance, let me know if i got somthing wrong
I like it. All the time I was sitting on Atlas. Right now I'm sitting on 20H2, I'm thinking about switching to 22H2 or not. Didn't you do behind the screen tests of past versions? There is no such content on Windows right now at all
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. Switching to a new version of Windows can be a tough decision, but it ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences. As for behind-the-screen tests of past versions, I haven't covered that content yet, but I appreciate the suggestion. I'll definitely take it into consideration for future videos. If you have any more questions or suggestions, feel free to let me know. Thank you again for your support!
Os tuning don't change anything with a normal configuration (no dual core, no 8gb or less ram and gpu drivers update). And over 150 fps its totally useless, just another warming solution for your room. Fix at 60 or 144 to save noise and power consumption. But good solution to remove bloatware. A new windows "2024" :)
No se ve una gran mejora la verdad tengo una i5 11th y 16 gb de ram pero con una gt 1030 y pues lo uso el atlas y desactiva cosas que no se nota al jugar, en algunos da tirones
Olá, meu notebook é um IdeaPad 3i Intel Core i5 10Gen + 8Gb Ram + 256Gb SSD + placa integrada intel uhd graphics gosto de alguns jogos offline qual windows me indica?
Its not about avg or max fps. Its all about minimum fps 0.1% and 1% lows. Also input lag. I use Ghost spectre and once i tried KernelOS, but kernelos needs experience. KernelOS and XOS are very good in latency. Ghost is in the middle but very user friendly.
Absolutely, right. When it comes to gaming performance, those minimum 0.1% and 1% lows are crucial indicators of how smooth and consistent your gaming experience will be. It's great that you've explored different options like Ghost spectre and KernelOS. While KernelOS might require more experience, it seems to offer excellent latency. On the other hand, Ghost spectre strikes a balance between usability and performance.
you got a one mistake in apex legends u have locked fps in revi os to 144. in cs go why on atlas os usable gpu is 73% when others using 60? some bad in settings on others? test on cod warzone: all os have diff locations example win 10 for some moments have clean location with smilar detal when ggos atlas and revi have action, smokes, effects... that change the AVG others look be good :) and good test :)
I am sri lanaka brother my pc spec I5 6gen 16gb ram 120sdd Rx 550 4gb But I can't play games on 1080p resolution what is the best os for my pc brother I want it only for gaming
ok guys if your gonna play games on atlas os some games do not work idk how did the creator did it but cod disnt work for me on atlas so i am using revi os
Although there isn't a significant difference between stock Windows and other operating systems, sticking with stock Windows 10 is a better choice for stability and security, especially with decent specs. However, if you're interested in trying a custom OS, I've found that Atlas OS offers better 1% low performance and overall smoothness, even on high-end systems.
Thank you for the test. However, for the gaming test like this, the provided info is not useful because these are GPU intensive tasks. It would be better if we focus on CPU job such as boot time, disk copy, some basic games or CPU test that dont require GPU such as Geekbench, Lol
The impact on performance in relation to the system largely depends on the hardware being used. A well-configured system, whether running on stock Windows or custom operating systems, generally has minimal impact on performance.
wait how did you managed to run cod warzone on ggOS? I had troubling with it saying i can't run with this version of windows so i instantly reinstalled fresh windows 10
If can you should get a better graphics Card. 470 4g or 480 8g are Not very expensive but require a Power connector. A 460 4g or better a 1050ti 4g can be found without the additional 6pin If your powersupply doesn't have one.
I would at least Upgrade the RAM to dual channel 8 or 16gb. If you have only one 4gb Stick in your system getting a 2nd one will give you more Performance for very little money. If its two 2gb sticks and you have 4 RAM Slots add two 4gb sticks. If you get 1600mhz Sticks you should try Out for yourself If 8gb at 1600 is better then 12gb at 1333. It probably will depend on the Games you are playing.
Hey Thanks for the support, i have made an updated benchmarks of "10 Custom Windows 10 ISOs" you can find the vid here- Custom Windows 10 ISOs “Benchmarked” - Which Is The Best OS For Gaming? link- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sri69idQV5g.html
It depends on your specific needs. In the video, we focused on gaming performance. However, considering your configuration with sufficient RAM, an average CPU, and an integrated GPU, it may limit your gaming options. If you are planning to use your system for other tasks, I do not recommend using any of these operating systems due to potential security risks. Instead, I suggest installing a fresh copy of Windows and then optimizing it by removing unnecessary components. If you need guidance, you can search for tutorials on RU-vid.
@@IneffableBenchmarksokay bro I am also doing programming so I will not download it But how can I optimise my laptop for gaming I mean to increase more fps At current I get 20-30 fps without lag in gta-5
Unsure about the others but Atlas disables various mitigations including Spectre/Meltdown. Also Fullscreen optimizations has a impact on eSports games as well. You can test this right now by doing those 2 exact things on your stock Win10
Hello mate I have 32 gb ram ddr4 3600mz, Ryzen 5 5600 AMD RX6700XT 12 GB Street Fighter 1tb ssd Can u reccomend something for me ? I play CS ,valo and few rpg
that's a nice rig man. you all set to rock another few years. yeah a 5800x3d/5600x3d (might be coming soon) would definitely give huge performance boost.
@@xGhost12 i know i know but i don't want to have any problem in the future i want to play without cleaning or boosting fps or anything else btw my gpu is rtx 4060
mostly for low end system, it improves system latency which make the system feels snapier, for your system you its might be worth a try...what is ur ram config btw
You should Upgrade the GPU to at least a 4g mode,l 460 or better the GTX 1050ti would be a much better fit for a ryzen. If you can fit and power a 480 8gb or 1060 6gb that would make a huge difference.

how did you make warzone work on gg os, since I have it and warzone does not work, it tells me I have a old version of 22h2 when i try to open it, thanks.
Guys, please help me why, after installing the ggos, an error occurs when starting the steam and I can't download the driver to my 1660 video card when installing, it gives an error, what could be the problem?! Thank you in advance🙏
if you are asking for a suggestion then, it depends on your system specs, if you r using a decent system as i do in this video, then there is no need to use these custom OSs, stick with the stock one and debloat it. If you are using like a 10 yr old system with low ram then Atlas is a pretty good choice for scenarios like that....👌
its litreally the same fps i was thinking of downloading one of the "gaming" os but its litreally the same performance even some got worse fps than original windows so im sticking to windows
it depends on system specs as well, also custom os are meant for responsiveness, some custom os are very snappier then stock, the latency is also much lower,
@@IneffableBenchmarkswhat do you recommend for rx 580 8gb, 16 gb 3200mhz ram, ryzen 5 2600 cpu? Please respond your my only one to ask that I can trust
