Windows 11: create local user without Microsoft account 

Have they removed the ability to do this? Adding a user without a Microsoft account seems to be no longer an option. So annoying.

Thank you! This was driving me mad! I hate gimmicks and having this "garbage patch" outpoor onto my desktop was unbearable! It has taken me two days to transfor my new notebook into a functioning computer!

Thanks for that, but how do I now make that local account now replace the current username and email address showing in settings?
