Okay, but Windows is still disappointing. One of the most noticeable things is the lack of a (consistent) dark theme. It is gotten so bad that some people made a modification called Rectify11, which fixes that problem. In Endermanch's words: It's interesting how a small team with passion can do more than a multi-billion dollar company with thousands of employees.

I've seen some fantastic design concepts on this platform. This is quite utterly ugly; paddings are inconsistent, icons don't match the aesthetic, there are absolutely no shadows and the whole thing looks like it has been put together by a 7 year old... Maybe because it was.
