Just run memtest86 if either of ur ram stick possibly have any error in the four passes it will pop up in my case memtest86 worked for me and ofc the problem could be related to bios or ur ram timings make sure that in the bios ur ram is set to optimal settings and ur bios is up to date and if u can't fix ur memory module you have no other solution then replacing it
@@AdityaMishra-mu1cc thanks for the info,I don't have this problem anymore I don't have the pc anymore as I upgraded but I remember taking the ram out and switching them around in different configurations and it helped

Hi, thank you! I did exactly what you said. I took the 2 ram chips, I tested one at a time. The first was complete good. I removed it and place the second one and started the pc. Immediately the the computer screen turned blue. I knew right away that was the one that was definitely not working. I turned the pc off and replaced it with another. Yeah!!! My pc is working 100%! Thank you!
This seem way easier than what other channels did. I did the windows memory diagnostic test on all 4 rams but ima do it for every single one individually. Let's see what it says

I bought 32 GBS of Ram (4x8GB). Corsair Dominator RGB. I was getting BSOD errors like you wouldn't believe so I went ahead and tested each one and found that one of the sticks was faulty. I'll try some of your suggestions and see if they work.
hey team, old video i know but still relevent. before i even thought to pull apart my pc i updated the motherboard bios and it fixed the issue entirely. you really need to cover all the bases to reduce as many variables as possble, taking out one stick at a time is a great tip
My issue was ddr5 xmp frequency was too high. It’s rated for 6400 but I went to 6000 and it worked like a charm. I ran the long test and success ! I’m very happy
Dude wow I can’t thank you enough my Corsair ram wasn’t working and I couldn’t find a fix but idk why but I think it was the lick trick and switching the ram placement that worked for me

Genuinely worked for me. No joke. Bought 3 sticks used RAM from ebay. Got the BSOD on a regular basis. Memtest86 showed no errors at all. Bit of a lick and wipe. 3 days without BSOD now. Obviously don't think saliva is magic. Worked though. Cheers
@@mikesunboxing Never guess what? haha ! Happend again. I am 100% positive it's not the RAM sticks. Really think it is the Windows 10 1903 update and/or the NVIDIA game ready driver I install. Done like 3 fresh installs of windows.
@@ryanmccafferty9595 it could be the Nvidia driver. One of the first things I redownloaded after wiping clean the entire PC and doing afresh install of Windows. I left my machine running for 3 days, no problems, left it on overnight last night, fine all night with my monitor off. 10 minutes after cutting the monitor on, it gave me a memory management error again. I've ran diagnostics and it never comes back with anything in my system being bad. I left 'Xbox game bar' pinned with RU-vid running overnight, never went over 26% RAM usage with several other pages open. Each video I started playing on top only took 1% more RAM everytime, so it *seems* ok, but I guess I've just gotta stop looking at a new case and instead try finding some new RAM.
@@TheGauges420 It 100% is the nvidia driver btw. On my 4th fresh install after yesterday. Seen on a few forums that installing the latest nvidia game ready drivers conflict the one currently installed with windows. Installed windows again and just left the driver that windows installed as default (Nvidia driver from October 2017). It is yet to BSOD so fingers crossed. But gaming is out of the question now I don't have the latest game ready drivers.
Holy cow it worked, well I didn't lick it but I used a wet wipe and compressed air, ran the windows memory diagnostic tool and no errors, it reminds me back in the day with snes cartridges if they didn't work properly I would clear the metal stripes, now that goes double for ram. Oh BTW I also sprayed compressed air near the sockets as well.
I was getting these Memory Managements and System Service Exception BSODs for months and ignored them until a few days ago when my PC could not boot into Windows without a crash, and if it did, no icons would show up and if I clicked the desktop or taskbar it would immediately crash every time. My C Drive became corrupted and I could not startup repair, reset my PC or even reinstall windows without error even after formatting the drive. At one point it did a full Windows reinstall on the drive but I could not open the start menu, settings, or the taskbar icons in the bottom right. I installed a new SSD, formatted it, partitioned correctly and it was STILL failing to reinstall windows or even reset. Reseating the RAM did not work. What fixed it was me taking out one of my 2 sticks of RAM, and attempting to reinstall again on the new freshly formatted SSD. Went smooth for the most part but had to do one last PC reset because a Cumulative update refused to install. Except for the C Drive and the small programs I put on there, all of my info on my other drives were saved. With my PC back up and running I ran memtest86 on the RAM stick I took out and it found over 15,000 errors in less then 15 minutes. Ordered a new set of RAM expeditiously. Moral of the story: If you start getting these BSODs consistently, do not ignore them lol. Run a memtest overnight and see how it holds up, also it's nice to have multiple drives instead of one big C Drive just in case the C Drive gets corrupted somehow, or at least get an external hard drive to back everything up to. Hope this helps anyone because for a while I thought my PC was bricked.
My msi gf75 laptop power off after few seconds of using premier pro(or any other graphical software) when i put two rams(32gb each), everything is fine, i checked both rams in each slots (together and single). I think the main problem is eaither voltage or mhz (previous rams were 2666 mhz and new ones are 3200 mhz)
So glad ram and GPU prices actually came down again. Ended up picking up 32gb of ram for my computer for less than the cost of new game. Thought it was a scam at first... but nope... it was the specific ram suggested for my computer by the manufacturer
Tested both RAM sticks. One of them had the hardware message and I decided to lick it clean thinking it would work, however it didn’t. The RAM stick with the hardware error message was still able to open up windows, but I’m not sure if the restarting issues will persist. My questions to you are 1.) Do I BUY another RAM stick to replace the one that had the hardware message from the windows memory test to prevent random restarts, 2.) Will sticking with the good RAM stick alone be enough to run games and not see any random restarts?, or 3.) Is there another way to fix the RAM stick with the error message to run properly again? Looking forward to your reply mate.
i would run it and see how it goes, there isn't much you can do other than try a good cleaning solution on the ram just in case there is grease or something on it.
My problem is of the same you are talking about. These RAMS cards and PC around 2 years old. It just gave me the stop code: Memory Management and restarted my PC. When I returned I figured out how to run the test and restart. It ran the windows program you showed and 1st test had an error. 2nd ran and then started windows after I go to screen where sign in is at. I then watched your video. I will if you suggest take the cards out since I put them in 8G each for 16G right after buying the PC. No problems until recently then things started going really slow even hours after a cache all time removed. Then days later when my pc usually will run great with 20 windows open. I only had 5 or so then got the blue screen and this is where I am at now. So the next step to clean the RAM cards and maybe this works or maybe one is bad? I know nothing about the bios thing. I never saw any high usage amounts using Task Manager Toping out around 8G with 20 windows and running a online movie. Then things started going slower and slower and then the blue screen. tks for your time.

I just got this problem. Suddenly when using the pc for work it got bsod and it says memory error something. It goes to boot loop with random bsod from kernel error, etc. and the last try, it went to no signal to the display. I almost cry because I did other windows troubleshoot and it didn't work. Then I remember that I have a backup ram that I bought couple months ago and haven't test it out lmao. So I changed it and also I did a cmos reset, and hold the power button for a minute. Then turn on the pc, have signal, can go to the bios, change the ram speed and timing. It works perfectly now. While turning on from the ram change, the windows didn't go through the chkdsk or any windows check. it just like there are no errors in the first place.
I see Mike's passion about what he is doing but licking your PC parts is a dedication on another level. Joke aside, great video. If I have problem with my ram will try it, starting with the licking of course!
I went from 8gb to 32gb on i5 10400f or what not and it would work for a while then crash or crash when casual browsing. Passed all hp stress tests and even downloaded Intel extreme tuner. Finally found out abt the memory hardware test and failed it. Searched a ton of videos over a few days to find this to be the fix. Just passed my test after unplugging the rams and light cleaning although looked spotless and switched the slots with a firm push. Thanks for the help.

is this this problem (memory managment) only relate to the RAM? I change my HDD to a SSD and the problem came after that, si i dont know if si about the SSD or the RAM. Any help is welcome
I will try that tomorrow. I don't have the blue screen of death, but I have the windows error recovery that keeps loading over and over. I've tried everything. I hope this will do the trick. Thanks...
I have this issue, and after quite a few reboots I can get it to start. I've tried resetting the RAM and that doesn't seem to help. I've also run the diagnosis and came up with nothing
So I have 2 sticks of 32gb memory, and when im in windows after about 3 minutes, no matter which stick is in the system, it tells me my memory is faulty. Is it more likely that both sticks are individually faulty or that the motherboard or an external thing from RAM is the issue?
i have this problem once when i turn on my pc then the pc restarts and keep working normally and i ran memory diagnistic tool and the resault was every piece of ram working normally

Hello thank you for your amazing video, Well I bought a new hp pavilion gaming 15 and after a week of usage Ive been getting blue screens and I ran Memtest86 and it shows errors, does that mean that I have to change my ram or it might just be because of dirt or ram is not well inserted in the motherboard ?

As soon as the diagnostic test started it already says “Hardware problems were detected”. I think I need new ram lol. What sucks I just thought it was corrupted drivers or something all these months. Maybe it isn’t the ram still, currently as typing this I’m still doing the diagnostic. I’ll edit if it really found issues or not. It could be the ram slots. Edit: CompletionType Fail, Bad pages 8, excluding the untested 1820. I guess this is bad? I was greeted with a warning saying “Your computer has a memory problem” after I logged in after the test. There are two errors from Memory diagnostic, first one giving the results I listed and the second one just saying “fail”.

I have a question for professionals to explain the following situation. Well, every startup of the computer ends with two or three BlueScreen. The cause is the memory. However, the next startup no longer causes BS and the memories behave well. The computer works even several hours without any problems. This is obviously an anomaly that I would very much like to explain, why the first, second, third startup causes BS and then it is OK. And this happens every day, i.e. the computer is turned off on a particular day because it is bedtime and turned on the next day. And again BS, and then OK. And the next day the cycle starts over again, BS, and then OK. XMP in BIOS is set to OK. I tried lowering the DDR4 frequency, but it doesn't help. What is the cause of this? Curious if anyone has encountered this behavior and knows the answer? My DDR4 is: Corsair CMK8GX4M1A2400C14 (2x8GB).

@@mikesunboxing I've already found out what it's all about. Corsair LPX is the worst memory, I also have trouble with them. Unfortunately Corsair does not want to replace. I don't recommend them to anyone! The fault with my memory is so specific that sometimes they work without a problem and sometimes blue screen one after another. I've already regretted it and bought DDR4 from another company and now there is no problem. From now on I will avoid Corsair from far away. Thanks for the tips.

Hey man I just updated to the latest Windows 10 update and I keep getting Memory Management BSOD. My computer was working fine before the update. Any idea what I need to do to fix this? Should I update the Motherboard Bios?
Roll back the update and see if it still happens if not then it was just a coincidence that it started at the same time. This will also give you an idea what to look for in software depending on the file changes in the update. It could have been a new Ethernet driver or something
I too face the same issue a lot these days in newer version of Windows 10 which never happened in the earlier versions. I get BSOD related to memory management very frequently nearly every time I boot to Windows 10
Hi I did the memory diagnostic, but it said I “hardware problems were detected. To identify and repair these problems you will need to contact the computer manufacturer.” What should I do pls help
I'm having the memory management issue I have 2x 8GB sticks same make and model my BIOS and PC Spec show both modules installed however when I run a game or application that uses more than 8GB my PC blue screens, done the memory diagnostics on the individual ram sticks and on their own they are both working fine it's when they are together that the memory error happens and yes they are channelled, would that be an issue with my motherboard? Because they were working fine for a year and then one day it just started acting up and doing the crashing, and I don't want to waste money on replacing components that might not be the cause.
