I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to learn about forgotten password windows try Ichordo Windows Code Fixer(should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin got cool results with it.
Thank you Danscourses. Only after watching your video I managed to reset the login password from a friend´s notebook. I was stuck at 7:40. Thanks for the explanation.
here from the future of 2023 we have windows 11 and im in IT work using Ventoy ive made a multi iso boot disk and this is still a very common tool so i indeed will learn how to use this program
if you are using a physical PC you need to burn the .iso file into a USB drive or a bootable CD by using Rufus (or other burning softwares) . PS - Hiren's boot CD is too good to real but it is real !
Man thank you so much the explation it's so clear as water, you saved my day, I've been working on some Graphic Design and windows started to update, and i force it to shutdown then it restor it self and since then, it didn't alow me to access to my desktop and created a password for my account that i didn't had! Man thank you 5 starts
This seems like a pretty easy way of accessing someone else's account. How would you prevent someone from using this method to gain access to your account? Add a password to your bios?
nvelopd Password protect your bios and disable the boot order on boot and usb or CD boot options. This way you have to know the bios password to even boot off of something other then then installed OS.
nvelopd Correct! Password protect your BIOS and don't allow booting from a CD/DVD drive or any external USB port. At that point they would have to physically open the computer to get access. Which means you also need physical security.
Hey There. I've done this before, but I came across a device that it doesn't show any windows partitions where you're selecting 2 in your video. I know it reads the OS, because if I turn on the computer it boots to the login screen for Windows. Any ideas why it's not seeing the candidate windows partition?
Mine did the same thing, the only one it showed was my thumb drive lol!! Did not work on that computer but it worked on my wife's computer, showed the other two and i picked the biggest one (2) and it worked fine. So i guess it works on some and not on others...think has to do with what each individual computer allows you to see by the way it is set up!
im stuck a little before 9:05, it doesn't ask me to edit the users it just goes back to the registry pathway thing...? any idea what im doing wrong? help please
Hey dude! I followed your instructions as you show in the video. After my laptop booted from the usb flash, it started to work, but after the "Switching to clocksource pit" it crashed. Any idea what to do it so? I use win10, maybe this is the problem?
+Matthew Webster There are many factors in windows password resetting. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Secret Password Wizard (check it out on google) without a doubt the best course i've heard of. Check out this amazing site.
+yo yoen There are many components to how to recover lost windows password. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Secret Password Wizard (check it out on google) definately the best course that I've seen. Check out this awesome website.
im trying to use this on the windows server 2003 and I cant get it to boot from disk or usb. I went into the bios and changed the boot order and still nothing. I can look at all the files on the system though on the other computer that I am trying to get this to run on. any thoughts
Any chance this would work on a Windows 8.1 machine? I have a friend from church who is locked out of his 8.1 machine and doesn't want to loose his data. Please advise.
I tried it a number of times and it worked but in this case, i cou[ld not find Disk /dev/sdc containing the information on CANDIDATE WINDOWS PARTITION so i can select as 1 or 2 depending. so what should I do?
Password clear dont work on my laptop.Error: Mount failed! Try select again or another? So whats wrong? Im using Vista Home premium service pack 2 and 32 bit.
When i went to collage. They did not tech stuff like this to me. But some bullshit on MS Word. Had to learn my own way at home. Things i wanted to now. :)
"When i went to collage. "...jesus learn how to spell (College) don't spell it like "collage you big dummy!! Also you spelled (Teach) wrong, you spelled it "tech" got dam i would bet a million bucks you never EVER went to college! Not sure what your even saying in your post because it does not make sense (but) if your saying the disk cd does not work your nuts, it works really good if you know what your doing !! Dummy
okay here is a puzzle. I cannot break it. maybe you could. BIOS PSW protected. Admin set no clue on PSW. Hirens will not boot cause bios settings. How do i get into my old vmware. lmao
This is a big problem. I wonder if the Hiren's website has anything in its lists of tools that can get around the passworded bios and inability to set boot order to CD/DVD first.
My work let me have a pc that has windows 7 on a domain I don't have the user name and password how do I get this username and password reset so I can log in
THIS WORKS FOR WINDOWS 10 !!!! WhoHoo! I like www.PendriveLinux.com to make a bootable USB with multiple boot ISO's. I downloaded the Hiren's ISO image Dan has here and then added it to the menu option of Pendrive Linux USB. Booted the USB, selected the Hiren's Rescue CD and booted it and followed Dan's directions above.
The only candidate it shows is my 'Flash Drive'..go figure! So it won't on my laptop (but), i tried on my wife's laptop and it worked. I made a user account on my wife's laptop, used the disk and it had (3) candidates and i chose the one that was the biggest and it worked fine. I rebooted went back to the login screen clicked on my new fake user i created and went right in without the password. So it does work i guess it depends on which computer your using it on and how it is partitioned and what shows. Lots of good stuff on the Hirens disk!
It works with windows 7...it worked on one of my windows (but) it did not work on another windows 7 i had. I think it depends on how the computer is set up and what the computer allows you to see, i know weird but good software to have cause it does work sometimes lol!!
