This is great! I use the 'format-list *' all the time when I am looking at event logs. That or pipe to 'Select-Object -ExpandProperty '. Select-Object alias = select. Great video! I will defiantly be using the Out-Gridview now.

Microsoft Learn has an Intro to PowerShell tutorial but I should have done John Hammond's tutorials first because he shows you what to do and gives better explanations. Plus, John's tutorials are more beginner friendly.
