Everyone hated vista because of it's terrible performance on devices of that time

UAC in windows Vista is beyond reasonable. And besides, Vista has a lot of problems other than UAC like it's much much more demanding than previous OS (Win XP) which of course the system requirements is really high compare to Windows XP, on top of that Microsoft advertising for vista branding on some laptop is too confusing. You can watch Linus Tech Tips's video about "Was Windows Vista THAT bad?" But other than that I still appreciate vista with it's features like UAC, apperance like Aero transparency effect and more.

reason is that time there was too little pc to run it perfectly

@@thetixussy5315 it wasn't Vista's fault. The hardware wasn't just capable of running Vista. Vista wasn't terrible, the hardware at that time was.

@@Abysswdh But it was lessened in SP1+ though. The reason behind Vista's high system requirements were premium features like Windows Aero Glass theme etc. Vista was a technical marvel of its time. Vista was a great OS. I used it for 3 years, (2015, 2016 & 2017)and I never had a single issue with it. Honestly my experience with Vista is the best I've had with Windows. Windows Vista is the best OS in my opinion.

Agreed. Windows Vista is the most beautiful Windows version ever. It had the best UI in Windows history. I honestly think Vista still looks better than Windows 11.

It's not a big deal so don't worry about it. To do this, make sure that the sound file format is wav otherwise change mp3 or m4a to wav to make it work on control panel. Change the UAC sound then apply it and enjoy.

But it was highly essential to stop rogue programs from running in the background. The number of UAC prompts were lowered in SP1 tho. To be honest, Vista is a great OS ✨

I agree! UAC is one of the most important components of Windows. I don't understand why people hated Vista because it had this new feature. I know it was a bit overwhelming, but it was highly essential to stop the rogue programs from running in the background and I don't see this as a valid reason to hate Windows Vista. I used Vista for 3 years, and I'd say it was the best Windows experience I've ever had. As my bio says, I love Vista and I shall do anything to defend Vista.
