The newest unofficial version of Windows XP is called Windows XP SP5 probably because of updates that came out unofficial sp4. No bells and whistles, in fact it doesn't preactivate it, not unattended. You go through the setup and even hear the music. Worked well when i tried it out in VMWare and later on my brother's Dell Optiplex 380 he's selling. The only new thing they did, was change winver. It says MS Windows Xp pro end-of-life 2019, unofficial rollup, service pack 5. and the logo is like some headstone with the Windows XP logo on it.

Speaking of theme packs, back when I was about 10 years old I had a Dell Latitude D600 laptop. I wanted a MacBook really bad tho. I dug around online on my already virus rich laptop all day and found this amazing Mac OS X Snow Leopard transformation pack for windows XP. I kid you not it literally made my computer look exactly like it was running Snow Leopard. It was actually amazing the amount of detail they put into the theme pack. it had a fully functional and amazing looking Dock, looked literally exactly like the real Snow Leopard one. It even had a Finder bar. I wish I could find it again but idk if I can. Of course it made the laptop even slower than ever but I didn’t care when I was 10 lol

I love the transformation packs! I used one back when I had an old eMachines XP computer called FlyAKite OS X. Very similar to what you’re taking about but it made XP look like Panther or Tiger. It was definitely a cool piece of software!

11:40 Aye I remember seeing the AlienMorph theme from that screenshot alongside some other themes, WMP skins, etc all on a website as a much younger child, nice to finally know where that was all usable from after all this time. Also nice to have a random piece of nostalgia that I missed out on originally...

The name made me think it was something like Windows 7, heavily restyled to match XP, so you could get the old look while keeping the support (given XP went EOL around 2014).

Its super easy to automate silent installs. Those installers come with command line switches to pre-answer questions and show you no window.

I very much remember these changes. The installation process showing (decompressing ....) with the basic blue bar from modded windows XP copies. Back in the early 2000s, I didn't have high speed internet, but I had some friends I asked to burn me cracked XP CDs, and some of them had these heavily modified setups. This must have been built by some customization tool back in the day

Interesting, I've had the idea to make a custom Windows version kind of like this meant to make setting up a Windows XP installation easier by including some useful software you'd generally want to install after installing XP. Perhaps I'll call it Windows XP 2019 Edition

Whenever Windows XP is being installed, it boots into a SYSTEM account environment that you can literally play solitaire or even FreeCell, launch Notepad etc.. There is a chance that you can install program using SYSTEM account before booting to the main system. Windows 7 has something similar to this as well before OOBE.

I have an Alienware PC before Dell bought it out and after and the one after Dell bought it out it ran XP with the software and the on after Dell bought it out it was a Dell custom theme changer gui and an RGB light changer so it was totally different

When I modify operating systems, I like to keep it close to how it originally was and not add “cool” backgrounds or text modifications to the OS. I would only add security patches.

The times when you could actually modify the look of your GUI. I hate that in Windows 10 I can't change it even to classic look. I mean there are programs that can change the look of W10 but it doesn't look that good as in XP.

Lol beautiful, modified windows versions are so interesting. Maybe get a test system from 2011 and physically install any OS you would do instead of in a VM, I think it would be way interesting. Have you heard of ReactOS

The remote access software you were referring to might be Team Viewer in this case. If someone ever tells you to install it tell no. Unless someone you know well and personally wants you to use it something is rotten!! I am leary of any modified version of Windows really. When I install it I want it to look like the version I was expecting.

Looks awful during the setup process. All that stuff should be automated, and it's not that hard to get the tool for that setup it's literally built-in, or you just download from Microsoft site, cuz people use it for creating custom images of Windows so that businesses can deploy copies of Windows to many computers with the same setup across the board without having to manually install each one individually and getting everything you need installed. You use the Setup Tool to automate this process and all the programs you need to be automated.

Featuring Windows 7 Sky Blue Edition, and yess... the architecture is 64-bit. It has Discord Firefox Google Chrome Opera Skype iTunes and soooo much moore.... The ISO Size is 7.49 GB (I will edit it until the progress is done.) I will upload the ISO file, Rufus (for USB) CyberLink Power2Go (for CD and DVD), the torrent file and the "READme.txt" soon.
