UEFI computers won’t show the final payload. Also, as long as someone has Windows Vista or newer and has UAC on, it’ll make them think twice. I would feel bad for someone if they did install this accidentally, however.

Clumsy Smurf with SackBoy #1 I think I’m the first person on RU-vid to actually show this MBR on real hardware. Other people have shown the malware on real hardware on here, but their computers were UEFI ones, which do not show an overwritten MBR.
A strand of hair got into my pc when i got to the MBR part and it scared me shitless as it wreaked havoc into my fans, causing lots of noise but in the end i got it out. Still pissed after what happened
Honestly, there’s not really a point in running Windows 7 on a Windows XP era system anymore. I mean if you’re tight on money and it’s all you got and need a newer OS, then it would make sense, otherwise no. Linux would be a better choice though if you just need to use it for basic stuff, like Internet browsing and word processing.
@@techdude7289 well its my dads computer its from 2007 its a computer that he mostly uses for work so it really doesnt matter and it works perfectly fine just like using a new one it runs very well and its also very fast
? It wasn't a failed attempt. The graphics on this old computer are terrible (onboard Intel from the pentium 4 era and this was a budget computer) so I shut it down cold. The final MBR showed as it would in a virtual machine. Right after I stopped the camera, I reformatted the hard drive, which I intended to do regardless if I had run this or not.
Honestly I was nervous doing it on _this_ computer, considering it's one of my favorite older computers in my fleet. I simply did it for a video and the fact I was reformatting it anyway.
@@michkop3535 I actually still use both. But I did not run the malware on this computer as my first time ever running it on actual hardware, because this is a favorite of mine. I just simply was going to reformat it anyway. I bought the monitor for $15 at Goodwill on January 3rd of this year. Plus, it wouldn't destroy that anyway.
