I swear to god, 2:02 will always hit me right in the heart. A massive flood of memories just broke into my brain and I never expected to have this kind of aching in my heart. Roblox was one of the most defining experiences of my childhood.
I joined in 2018 and played mobile in 2020 and quit in mid-2020 before starting again in late 2020 and quit at July 20 2021 cause of new OS version requirements and continued when I got a new phone.
This will be the song playing when all the old Roblox players march into war to take back the game that was once theirs from the anthros and online daters.
@LunarPixel The version that had tickets, free clothing items, lifetime Builder's Club, catalog events, original events made by the staff such as Egg Hunts, eggs hatching into free items, being able to get robux for free by logging in everyday. But let's just ignore all that just because it's optimaztion wasn't as advanced in 2010 as it is in 2020. You know, only a decade's difference. And while you have a point about OD'ers always being around, it's become more of a problem in modern ROBLOX. Do I need to mention the 'thicc legs'? Or blatent sex games on Roblox? And the addition of Anthro has only made the problem worse.
@LunarPixel You're right about the tickets being removed, although it was still sad to see them go. While there were a lot of flaws with Roblox back then, it still had a lot of great features that are sadly absent today. There's not really anything I can say about the ODers, at the end of the day most of them are just kids and now that I think about it they haven't really changed too much. And while sex games have been a thing for a while too, they are becoming more common. For example, scented con. If you look up scented con on Roblox you'll see a large amount of blatant sex games, it's like a whole network of them. And sadly children are playing these games. Roblox is trying to do everything in their power to remove them, but new scented con games are constantly being created. While I do have to thank Roblox for still allowing us to use the original blocky look after all this time, it still saddens me to see that Roblox is clearly encourging use of the anthro look, which wouldn't be a problem if they didn't look so unsettling. It's downright disturbing when I see someone using anthro in a game and it looks really alien compared to the other avatars. It's almost as if Roblox is trying to sweep the original block style of avatars they began with under the rug, as if it's just irrevelent now even though they stuck with it for so long, knowing full well that ODers prefer anthro to the blocky avatars. While the majority of the old games were simple, they still had a focus on fun and people generally made what they wanted to make, using their creativity. They wern't really looking for money or robux, they just wanted to make a fun game that people like them could enjoy. Now fast forward to 2020 and you have tons of souless simulator games created with the sole intent of getting people to pay robux. They intentionally try to use trends to rope in younger kids so that they will play the game and want to spend money. There are also tycoons, Piggy rip-offs, and more trash like this. They plague the front page, often hiding acutally quality games. Now I'm not saying all new games are bad. Because in reality that's far from the truth. We have great games like Arsenal, Jailbreak, Murder Mystery 2, Phantom Forces and more. Back then, none of those games could have been possible. But now it feels like there's just so much bad mixed in with the good. Roblox really does have a lot of potential for fun and exciting games, however unfortuately a lot of people seem to just want to rush boring and generic games for a quick buck.

@LunarPixel Chill my man. you don't remember when people were actually nice? when roblox didn't have things like adopt me,piggy and such? tix? tags didn't block everything like numbers? sure,roblox has become way more advanced and that's a good thing! but bro look at the anthros,nobody wants them let's be honest,and the community wasn't that toxic and games weren't as cringy and just simulators. there's a good side to both new and old roblox. I'm upset that I'm apparently the only developer that still cares for the build tool. If you still use ROBLOX, I've fixed the stamper tool, we can make a game like that for nostalic reasons.

First heard this song back in 2011-2012 when I played Build to Survive the Zombies by DANGERTIM. It's sad to see the first game I ever played has broken...no point in playing if you can't build to survive, haha. But this song was probably one of my favorite aspects of the game. It's super cool to see it remixed!

Tornado Alley ROBLOX (not ULTIMATE) right here is where this and the original were once played. Man did I not like the tragic downfall of Tornado Alley ROBLOX. R.I.P Tornado Alley ROBLOX / Tornado Alley 4 (August 16, 2009 - June 11, 2021) First, the game's players were always low, Second, a few months before the game was taken down a glitch happened where voting didn't work, The scripts didn't count the votes and the map was never the one that got the most votes. And I believe every time a tornado's music was playing (or just the unstoppable one), the original audio would play. (Telamon's Sword / Wind of Fjords, the full 3 minutes of it) I also do remember the times when I would use the gravity coil and once get up on top of the lobby when in a match. Damn did that game give me nostalgia. But anyway Phoqus, thank you so much for remixing the original masterpiece and turning it into an even better masterpiece, and I'm glad 1billybob1 used it in his lobby theme when maps were voted.
Really, the only things that changed between 2010 and 2011 were the GUI. I like all the GUIS in the game (old and new) so I don't have a problem with the one used in 2011 and 2012.
@@commanderkizza978 I'm not really sure what you're talking about, the Roblox community has almost always been toxic (don't even get me started on the forums). In terms of development, Roblox has been getting better and better (as of right now, Adopt Me as 9.2B+ visits, that's outstanding). Yes, removing tix definitely hurt the "Roblox economy", but from a business standpoint, it was pretty smart.
@@davidbowman8832 just all the shit ive seen, i dont remember as much toxicity a few years ago, also saw something about them hiring cheap indian moderators, heard *alot* about them just handing out bans to innocent people too, also there arent as many good games as before, its mostly just simulators with slightly different versions of each other.
@@commanderkizza978 Unfortunately, yes, there are numerous cheap, low quality, low effort, cash grab games. But that isn't anything new, I remember seeing multiple cart ride games, tycoons, build to survive games, town of Robloxia copies, adopt games, boys and girls hangout games, club games, click bait thumbnails, etc. Regarding the "cheap Indian moderators", I've actually never about that, not necessarily saying it is or isn't true.
all the horror/zombie games used to use the original. two games that come to mind are undead nation and build to survive the zombies, used to love using the old stamper tool toilet flying glitch! love this btw. a great take on something already so perfect

I am super sad that they changed this from the game we all remembered as “run and kill the killers and Area 51” it was a striking game for teens and they had removed it, I’m glad this guy made it happen
ROBLOX isn't the one to credit here. Like the Great Strategy, they took it without permission of the original creator on ModPlug. Don't expect them to care either way if it's used.
i wish i could go back in time to 2012 or 2013 and live back the memories of a being a child again and playing roblox with my friend in heights i wish i could go back to that time and relive those lovely and permanent memories.
Man I miss 2013. Now a days, the games are trash, the community is trash, the chatting is unbearable, now I cant even say simple phrases or abbreviated words, we were having the time of our lives and didnt even know. Sad.
They should make a thing where your able to go back into the past of roblox by pressing a button and looking at the page and plays those game with the old roblox and relive those memories but either way it wont feel the same then it used to be :(
