In this very special episode, we caught up with our favorite culinary couple, Jessica Yang and Robert Compagnon. In 2019, we visited them at Le Rigmarole, their yakitori-centric restaurant, but a lot has changed since, and now they run the wildly popular ice cream parlor and wine bar, Folderol, and have turned the former into Pizzamarole, a sourdough pizza place they run with their friend Dan Pearson. And this is where Action, Clovis, and their rag-tag wine and food crew hung out for a few hours one afternoon this past summer. The chefs have their science down. Using the bellcurve for pizza dough... it really looked like the highest level euro italian pizza. crusty and stone oven. very hot very fast in and out

The neighborhood life in France is so intimate to see as outsiders. It's just like every city but seeing it surrounded by architecture and some of the best food and wine makers it's incredible. Actions a neighborhood guy in Queens (or anywhere in NY really) so seeing him hanging out like that in different neighrhoods across the globe is what makes following his career so fun.

for real though. I never thought about visiting Paris and if I did it was to say i'd rather go to another place. After these episodes, I want to take a two week trip to Paris to just walk around drinking natural wine and eating. I don't need to see the Eiffel tower or the Louvre, just eating and drinking on the streets.

5:04 - 5:38 is some of the finest filmed video I’ve ever seen. The cheers, leading to the beautiful ladies trying to be seen on camera but Action paying them no mind. To Action explaining the nuance of Mexican vanilla flavor and tactfully clarifying not licorice but liquor-ish, only to tell these French people it taste like Henny… and with my east coast palette, I heard him about to further clarify by saying EnJ, but they wasn’t ready for all that. I love this show.

i've never been to that wine bar even though i live literally 2 min away. It's just usually so crowded and the owners even had to put up a sign that says "no tiktok" bc they were so tired of ppl filming themselves there. But Action Bronson just made me want to go. I'm defo going next week
