If you're spending that much on your wine, and have a relatively sizable collection, it sort of makes sense to document when you consumed what. Sure, you could journal it all, but this is more no-fuss solution, depending on the archival feed storage policy (I'm guessing it's on-premises NAS).
@@themartdogdude, he’s got a whole room in his home dedicated to just wine and the storage of it. Separated by an indoor glass door, through which we can also see his bay windows and skylight. He’s rich.
While this may indeed be a rich person, most workers here in Norway can afford a wine cellar if they actually wanted it. A friend of mine has a sauna and a gym. So either that means everyone is rich, or it means that the country you are in is organized so that only a few get everything.
It obviously wasn't installed correctly. It's a wine wrack it holds as many bottles as it can. The weight of the wine pulled it away from the wall because it wasn't properly anchored to the wall.
I deal with rich people like this with my job. Some people really do have so much money this is just a slight inconvenience. He can just hire someone to clean up the enite mess, rebuild the wall and then replace his wines. He won't have to waste a second of thought or energy on this I bet.
some ppl like to let them age... i don't get it, considering a belgian strong golden ale is the only alcohol worth drinking; but that often gets aged, too (by the consumer) so idk...
In a drawing his office, there are a couple of straps with some screws and a little note that says this wine rack is unstable and should be secured to the wall.
"Don't you hate it when the wine wall in your wine room in your mansion collapses? The only thing worse is when the Bentley dealership puts you on hold.... These are regular people problems. Right?!"
I think it wasn't fastened properly. He probably didn't use plugs in the wall and the shelf must've hung forwards slightly. So, if you have screws that are in plaster or something similar, without extra support, and you constantly have this weight and more weight put on and taken off, so the shelf moves, your screws will start to loosen. That's what I think happened. They started to scrape away the material and eventually gave away.
You know he's rich, not because of his wine, his home, or his outfit, but the complete lack of worrying. A poor person would try to save the wine. For him, it's pennies
Nah, it’s because what is he going to do about it? Catch each bottle as it falls like he’s Superman? The room is full of broken glass and wine, better not risk going in and trying some acrobatics.
I think he was smart - broken glass all over the floor and even if he was in there he wouldn’t be able to catch or grab more than one bottle at a time. If he’s insured it’s better to wait!
Contractors hate deuschebags like this. You can see two wine racks. I guarantee homeowner is to blame 100% Edit. No male should wear sandals. And the glass doors unnecessary. Horrible taste
That is more tragic than anything I can think of currently😢 that poor fella lost all that cuz of inept carpentry anyone should feel safe their wine room is safe space for alcohol
I do wonder what caused this. Is the wall inclined one way or another? Normally gravity and friction should do their thing but it seemed as though it started to lean very abruptly, very quickly. Was there a heavy truck driving by or something?
Why isn't he looking for a broom or similar long strong that he can use to push it back up while keeping distance from falling glass. Shame we don't get to see the securing method used for the rack and wall.
@madrockon7357 "Poor" also means misfortunate, which is what this situation is for the guy. You think it doesn't matter because he has money or likes wine? There are plenty of people who could say the same of you when something unfortunate happens.
@@iunnox666 Yes.... I'm fully aware. Thank you. I don't feel sorry for them. This individual is clearly rich as hell, and i doubt they have the worries that the average person has. It's hardly "misfortunate" if you can just simply afford to replace what was there to begin with.
@@madrockon7357 You're not. And that attitude doesn't serve you. Thinking people with nice things don't deserve them primes you to never have them yourself.
@@iunnox666 You are being defensive because now, i shot down your nitpick comment. I also believe you have not grasped the meaning to my original comment. It wasn't about wanting money for myself. I was criticizing people defending millionaires, as if they live the same way the 99% do. They do not. The few people with the most money in society are often the ones who are making everyone lives more difficult to say the least.
It takes 5 seconds of observation to see that this is a restaurant (lots of tables and chairs) not some rich person’s house. But believe what you want I guess.
What's wrong with that? He enjoys wine, so he's made a nice place for it in his home. Do people with art on the walls deserve it if they fall and get destroyed?
