I have a Bell dish with a Winegard tracker. I spoke with Deb at Winegard and she reviewed my problem. She was very pleasant and knew exactly what was needed to repair my unit, Winegard sent the parts and I installed. I have nothing but good things to say.
Hello Noeleen - A rattling sound is likely a loose bolt on the reflector. There are either 2 or 4 bolts securing the reflector in place, if those loosen up it can cause the reflector to rattle around in the wind. Tighten those bolts finger tight then use a wrench for a half turn to make sure they are tight. If you need any further assistance please email Winegard Customer Support at help@winegard.com.
wineguard is never there to help they close at 5 pm on weekdays and are closed on weekends when most people have trouble we have had wineguard for a few years now and they are of no help when you need it., they are so far behind in return calls that you are home and don't need it or they call when you are on the road. This last time they told me they would call back by 24hrs that was 8 days ago still no CALL ,if you do happen to get through on a call most of the time the tech cannot help you. I am done with wineguard and there no serivce. If I can find a dish dome I will replace it as soon as possible. There no service policy has me wanting to switch my home and RV away from dish. Remember wineguard only works from 8-5 and not on weekends when most RVers are at play.
