Gerald Albright joins the Cannonball Band to perform their version of "Winelight" as a tribute to Grover Washington Jr.
Saxophones: Gerald Albright alto GA5-SB, Randal Clark alto AVR-L, Ryan Lillywhite tenor TVR-BR with FAT Neck, Tevis Laukat - baritone B5-B Ice B

Gerald Albright is such a genius, he plays as if he created the sax. So much control over it and Randal Clark's approach is amazing, love his tone too! 😍😍

@@AndRacy-pi8ki he could use any mouthpiece and still sound like this. Sound like this doesn’t come from a mouthpiece …unfortunately. It’s years of practice and voicing control.

I thought I was the only one! That solo was awesome! Just goes to show how important feeling is and how sometimes simplicity can be the best for a solo and how to not overplay. He really did play great though!

u really need to get a bari sax to add some bottom to your videos, if u dont want to spend 4-8000 dollars on a bari sax, just get a mendini. they are cheap and play reasonably well, I got mine brand new on amazon for like $1400, with case, stock mouthpiece, generic ligature, Reed, neckstrap, floor peg, gloves, cleaning clothe, cork grease, and neck piece, and a cheap tuner, pleaseeee get one, it would make ur viewers so happy to see u play it. it's a perfect sax for a new bari sax player. it's responsive and the notes pop. intonation is OK. not great , but OK. mendini baritone saxophone with low A and high F#, amazon. 14-1600 bucks, takes about 2-4 weeks. please. I speak for the people .

Randal Clark is new to me who am moved by his alto saxophonic dexterity. They are all great. Good output, guys. This has become Gerald Albright's signature - Wine Light. Go Gerald; don't forget the bass now - or the tenor saxophone. Wilton Felder [RIP] never did [smile].
