This is the dream! I've waited for these sessions for over a year now. It's such a great feeling to ride into an open-water swell with the wing, as you can just put it aside and glide without worrying about it. Still, it's quite a huge pain in the ass to get threw the Shore-break first of all. Practice makes perfect... Also my Equipment is way to big. Quite a different feeling when a big Foil accelerates threw a wave instead of your pumping motion or the wing. The funny thing is: The XLT wont even go fast, compared to smaller foils, but still its top speed is terrifying for me :D Still I cant wait to get my hands on a smaller Foil and progress on some more speed to be able to keep up with those open ocean waves.
