To stitch I've used "Speedy Stitcher" (broke one needle in the process, it's pretty hard to go through 4 layers of dacron but doable). For bladder and canopy I'm using Tear Aid Type A 152cm (5ft) Bulk Roll
Thanks that was just what was needed ! I was looking for a zip on the strut and thanks to your video was able to push the connector down to remove the bladder.
Nice tutorial!! Thanks for uploading. I would have cutted the corners of the patch in a Round shape to make it last longer, otherwise it peels off from the edgy corner, but is just a small Detail
Thanks for your video. I would like to know what happens in case of a long (3 inches, 8 cm) cut rather than a small hole. Is still repairable? or bludder is mandatory to be replaced ? Thanks
Theoretically Tear Aid Type A should work for 8cm, you just need to make sure not to glue 2 sides of the bladder together, probably would need to put something inside the bladder (maybe a soft plastic wrap) to prevent 2 sides of the bladder from sticking together.
@@SilverFoilSurfer thanks. But in such case it would be better to replace the bladder. Is it right? Are the bladders all replaceable? Or every brand has its own? Is the bladder of cilindrica shape or is already preformed to match the strut shape?
Bladders are not cheap, if you can fix it, better fix it with Tear Aid Type A. Every brand has it's own version, also, I believe they vary btw sizes, 3m vs 5m.
