Would you do a review on the muji aluminum fountain pen? I like it, it feels like an xacto knife. Even if you don't like the nib (I do), it's a #5 so you can replace it with something by FPR or whoever.
You should do a top 5 fountains under/around $20. You can actually get some high quality pens for $20 these days. I'm pretty interested with the new nibs being used by Moonman, seem to be a good improvement.
So I just got my Wing Sung 3013. You *have* to get one for the ~AU$8 price on eBay. Unbelievable pen for the money, better made than a 698 and even my PenBBS 268.
Nice review. The Sailor procolor, the Jinhao 992, the Monteverde Monza and now the Wing Sung 9133 all seem to be essentially the same pen at least in terms of design. The parts of the 992 and the Monza are interchangable. I agree that the 992 is a dependable, utilitarian pen. I've have had no problems with cracking.
Have a few 992s for my coloured inks, agreed that they are boring but they are great every day pens and it doesn't matter if I lose/break them. Just ordered a new WS 3013 (vacuum) - looking forward to your thoughts.
Brilliant - I just found this one on Shopee and ordered a pair. The 992 is great, I carry the 51A with me when I go out so I'm interested to see if I can pull this nib and stick it in the 51a for myself and pick up another one for my son - he's 7 and just loving to draw and write with real pens now.
I remember using a cheap Wing Sung as a school kid approx 15 years ago. It had a cheap plastic body, a cheap hooded nib and was quite delicate. But it was a novelty in a boring world of ball and gel pens
Overall, I feel both pen are very hard nib which doesn't enjoy a flex. With 9133 price, I recommend 3013 as other mentioned since Vac-Filler makes significant value with close price range.
I like the fact that you cannot hear feedback in your vids because of the voiceover....It lets you see the writing ability of the pen without distraction.
I just inked 9133 and it is not nearly as smooth as 992. Wing Sung 3008 with Lamy-style Fine nib, that i received at the same time, feels smoother than 9133. 9133 converter feels cheap and flimsy compared to Jinhao one.
Hiya Handsome.... nice to see you again. Good video as usual...You make me smile with your expressions, from about 25 seconds in where you said ...' well there good '.... loved it . I like WingSung pens and found them pretty reasonable in performance. Good for getting into fountain pens and inks if you're just starting out or are a student who wants to try something different than the usual bic scribble rod A commentator asks about Indian pens...have you been tempted to try these Josh ??? Best wishes to all PenPeople. LeZc @@ Personal question...Are your eyes black? I have two different monitors but both show your eyes as black???
Also dont buy these pens from Amazon because they are way overpriced on Amazon. The will sell them for 4X the price than you could get from Aliexpres or Ebay.
@@juliuscaesar893, I have a bias against eBay. I buy from Amazon for the Free Shipping. Buying from Aliexpress & eBay you have to take into consideration whether there is free shipping & how long it's going to take before you get the item. But all things being equal, if the price is actually cheaper & I'm not in a hurry to get the pen, I'll buy from Aliexpress.
Jinhao #6 M nibs are particularly cheap. I think I saw five pack for $4. When you buy replacement nibs, buy also replacement feeds, I saw those just few dollars per ten pack. I heard they also break easily
Woah. Back that camera off a skosh. Your head shouldn’t take up nearly the entire vertical space of the frame unless you’re revealing something crazy on a soap-opera
Enough of Chinese FPs now please switch to Indian fountain pens, they are as cheap as Chinese pens but quality control is way better than those cheap Chinese pens😉 do bring some variety in your channel.
@@AhumadaMauricio there are many brands 1. Click 2. Wality/Airmail 3. Camlin 4. ASA pens 5. Gama 6. Deccan 7. Ratnam 8. Guider 9. Kanwrite 10. Lotus And many more please @jpl have a look on these brands, you will not be dissapointed 😊
